Business Trip

Pros: Pool and comfortable bed.
Cons: Carpet needed cleaning and there was a slight stale smell in the hallway. Bathroom and walls were white and did not a warm vibe, felt cold and sterile
Beds were comfortable. Nice pool. Very close to many places to eat and shop, would not recommend walking there in the summer due to the 100+ plus heat.

Nice hotel

I was really happy with the location of the hotel and our room. I'd unknowingly booked a room upstairs but, when checking in, the staff moved me to a patio unit. We were happy with the spacious room and bathroom. The patio opens up to the pool and was very nice. The sliding glass door to the patio did not run on its track correctly and was nearly impossible for my kids and myself to use. There was also a garbage can, outside the door to building that was overflowing from the time we checked in around 4pm until after we checked out at 9am. The trash and broken door are the only downfalls and are easily fixed. I would stay here again.

comfortable hotel for a 1 night stay

Pros: the pool
Cons: clean the pool area ready for the next day.
Nice place to stay for 1 night. The downside was that the pool was advertised as being open by 7am and in fact it was not. I had to get someone to open the gate. There were no fresh towels to use and the pool area had not been cleared of the previous day's used towels, food trays and drink cups.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty

Room carpet had more stains than clean spots. Very dirty hotel. Not worth the money.

Pros: away from freeway
Cons: front desk service - communication - More correctly describe room position. The room could hardly be described as courtyard
I booked an itinerary at the Sheraton Bakersfield. To enjoy the visit more I paid more for a courtyard area. When we arrived we were told to come back later. I tried to register and was denied. When I returned they gave us a upstair room with a tree right in front of the window and a building facing us. There is no way that this could be construed as a courtyard area room. Evidently they do not honor paid reservations such as Expedia booked. We were very disappointed that we used Expedia to book our room.and that we chose the Sheraton. I really do not expect that you or they will take the time to try to correct this for others. Its not the money, its the experience lost.

Hotel with class and affordable too.

Comfortable and up to date accommodation; room and linens impeccably clean. Would definitely make this a stopover stay between Redding and San Diego. Am only sorry our early departure schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of the full breakfast.

Great Stay

We only stayed one night but will likely stay here again. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel is close to everything we needed and my favorite part was the nice big swimming pool, hot tub and the courtyard fountains are beautiful.

Wonderful courtyard

Pros: Pool area
The hotel staff were great! I was able to checkin early - which really helped ease the rest of my day. I was there for 2 nights on business. The hotel was well located in the city - a short drive to food and shopping The courtyard is so calming and the pool area was well kept and much appreciated after a day of work.
