Convenient Location with Excellent Comp BreakfastPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, cleanliness, friendly staff, pool/Jacuzzi courtyard. Management/ownership is in process of updating amenities and common areas.
Cons: Small workout room with minimal equipment (pretty much one of each type of machine).
Location: Quick on & off from the CA-99 freeway. Buck Owens Crystal Palace right next door. Close to downtown (2 minute drive) & within 20 minutes to anywhere.
Lobby recently remodeled with new furniture delivered during my stay. Rooms and common areas super clean. Complimentary breakfast is cooked to order by the kitchen rather than pre-made. Complimentary breakfast options include pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, and toast. Pool area is in center courtyard surrounded by landscaping and hotel room buildings. Pool was not heated (November) and Jacuzzi was very hot. There is also a gas BBQ area in the courtyard. Was allowed to check in early since room was ready.

Would not recommend! Check in was fine. They gave me a key to a room someone was in. Went back got a new room next door. Stinks, blood on 2 pillows. Sliding door open. Shared a parking lot with a 24 hour gas station. Never again.

The staff was friendly and the lobby was nice and recently remodeled. Unfortunately, the "suite" we stayed in had chipped paint, peeling wallpaper, and cracking ceilings. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had also been remodeled.

Not good. Security is non-existent. It appears anybody can enter the property at anytime.

Could have been betterPosted Oct 12, 2015
Check in was nice the staff was nice. Then gave us a room with a double bed, when we paid for a king, we went back to the front desk, and they changed it. We was placed in room 188, the room for Hell. First the room had a really bad, bad smell, the shower head was not working right so you had more water on the floor and walls then you had in the shower and the towels were grayish white, when they are suppose to be white. Went to Walmart to buy some towels, we had to keep going to the front desk cause the key card they gave us wouldn't open the room door. We couldn't wait for the time was up for this hotel to be finished. If we could have gotten our money back we would have. We will not be coming back to this hotel.....

Pros: beautiful pool area variety of pillows on the bed balcony full breakfast
Cons: keep spa area open later
Location: Easy access from the freeway Adjacent from Buck Owens Crystal Palace A good stop-over in the middle of California
We have stayed at this property several times when it was run by a different chain. There have been some cosmetic changes but it's basically the same. The central pool area is beautiful with semi-tropical plants around the pool and spa area. The front desk was not clear in describing where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage a long distance to our room. When we finally got there, we found that there was parking much closer to our room. The room had a few glitches but was clean and comfortable. A pole lamp did not turn on at all, and two of the outlet covers were extremely crooked. The desk lamp was on some sort of motion detector and switched off if I didn't move around. We were pleased to have a balcony overlooking the central pool area.

Rude receptionistPosted Oct 3, 2015
Room was too hot....air conditioner didn't cool it down for about 5 hours...room was suppose to be 2 beds they gave us 1. Had to go back to rude receptionist to get new room. No elevator and I had to walk so far with my bad knees. Then after exchanging keys and got to room they didn't give us back breakfast vouchers. WiFi down all night and morning. Will not go back there. Very disappointed.

Location: Great location!!!
The staff was awesome. We tried plugging into the outlets but they are out of date and our plugs for our hair straighteners would not stay in the outlet. There was no coffee in the lobby for guests. That would have been much better, instead of going to the restaurant.
