Could have been betterPosted Oct 12, 2015
Check in was nice the staff was nice. Then gave us a room with a double bed, when we paid for a king, we went back to the front desk, and they changed it. We was placed in room 188, the room for Hell. First the room had a really bad, bad smell, the shower head was not working right so you had more water on the floor and walls then you had in the shower and the towels were grayish white, when they are suppose to be white. Went to Walmart to buy some towels, we had to keep going to the front desk cause the key card they gave us wouldn't open the room door. We couldn't wait for the time was up for this hotel to be finished. If we could have gotten our money back we would have. We will not be coming back to this hotel.....

Pros: beautiful pool area variety of pillows on the bed balcony full breakfast
Cons: keep spa area open later
Location: Easy access from the freeway Adjacent from Buck Owens Crystal Palace A good stop-over in the middle of California
We have stayed at this property several times when it was run by a different chain. There have been some cosmetic changes but it's basically the same. The central pool area is beautiful with semi-tropical plants around the pool and spa area. The front desk was not clear in describing where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage a long distance to our room. When we finally got there, we found that there was parking much closer to our room. The room had a few glitches but was clean and comfortable. A pole lamp did not turn on at all, and two of the outlet covers were extremely crooked. The desk lamp was on some sort of motion detector and switched off if I didn't move around. We were pleased to have a balcony overlooking the central pool area.

Rude receptionistPosted Oct 3, 2015
Room was too hot....air conditioner didn't cool it down for about 5 hours...room was suppose to be 2 beds they gave us 1. Had to go back to rude receptionist to get new room. No elevator and I had to walk so far with my bad knees. Then after exchanging keys and got to room they didn't give us back breakfast vouchers. WiFi down all night and morning. Will not go back there. Very disappointed.

Location: Great location!!!
The staff was awesome. We tried plugging into the outlets but they are out of date and our plugs for our hair straighteners would not stay in the outlet. There was no coffee in the lobby for guests. That would have been much better, instead of going to the restaurant.

Okay for a one night stay. Bring your own pillowPosted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: The staffs are friendly.
Cons: Plumbing and lighting in inner rooms. Laundry facilities should have a different entrance or maybe provide workers with a bigger work space.
Location: Location is good for us. Lots of places to eat around. Close to the Civic Center and the courthouses.
The entrance to our room was directly across the laundry facilities with narrow hallway and not enough lighting at night. When we checked in, it was daytime, so lighting was not a problem. We were glad to be on the first level and parking was a few feet away from room. Unloading boxes of files and our carry on was a breeze. While we were unloading our stuff , back and forth to our car and our room, we noticed a puddle of water on the floor. The workers had spilled water on the floor in the hallway but no one bothered to clean up the spill. Having our room situated directly across the laundry facility, means, we have to walk around their laundry carts. Our room had 2 queen size beds with 4 pillows on each bed. The bed sheets were clean but the pillows were horrible. My husband slept well because he brought his own pillow. I couldn't sleep. I was on tossing and turning and changing from one pillow another to see which was comfortable. In the bathroom, I saw mama cockroach and three baby cockroaches. Whew. For future guests, do not bring your food in the room. You will have to share with the family of roaches. The next day, I jumped in the shower, took their shampoo and conditioner to find out that the shampoo was almost empty. That must be the left over from the previous guests. No one bothered to replenish or check them. The plumbing needs repair. I noticed that the faucets would have a continuous dripping of water even when shut. And this is in California.

Person that checked me in wasn't friendly at all. But at check out I addressed it and that person was very helpful and even apologetic.
