Smelled like cigarettes in a non smoking room

Pros: Had a coffee maker and nice refrigerator, microwave worked, air conditioner and heater worked fine.
Cons: Holes in the blanket, smelled like cigarette smoke in a non smoking room, small bath towels.
Location: Some restaurants close by

No Cats Allowed

I booked this hotel the night prior as a stopover on my way to northern CA. When I booked the room I added in the request box for a first floor room if available and that I would have a cat with me during my one night stay. I drove from Flagstaff, AZ the next day and upon arrival to the hotel was told they could not find my reservation. The staff then found it, but said it was blocked out and cancelled. I never cancelled the reservation, so the staff said they could take me as a walk in for a room. I preceded to tell the staff that I had a cat and they stated they do not allow cats at this hotel, only dogs are allowed and that must have been why they cancelled my reservation! No call, nothing to tell me this before I drove 7hrs to find out I had a cancelled room and no where to stay! The website clearly states pets are allowed with a nightly fee. Nowhere does it state dogs only. How ludicrous and at least have the decency to call/email/notify me that you have cancelled my reservation so I could have another hotel lined up. The staff said they would send me to the hotel behind them but it wasn't very nice and then shrugged. So I left and thankfully there are several hotels by each other in that area and was able to book a room for night. Never again would I try to stay here with such poor business.

worst hotel I have ever stayed

Place was dirty, carpet had iron burn marks imprinted in it, very loud, people knocking on doors 3a-4a, refrigerator was not on, front desk advised me to go to the circuit breaker panel and flip it on,really? Truly the worst hotel experience I have ever had

Third time at this motel.

Pros: The kitchenette was a plus.
Cons: You could improve on the cleanliness. Strong smell of cigarets in hall, all 3 times. They keep an unattended lit candle at the front desk.
Location: Good location for my event.
This is the third time I have stayed at this particular motel. Same as the last two times, bathroom floor was very dirty along the edges and in the corners especially. The tub has been slow to drain all three times. The carrousel in the microwave dosent work so, the frozen entrées I bought at Trader Joes didn't cook evenly. I kept having to stop it and turn it myself. That still didn't work out. It is a rather noisy motel due to the permanant residents who live there. I keep coming back because it is right next door to where my event was. I always bring my own towels because theirs are old and discusting. I took a picture last year, wish I had saved it.

Good hotel near a great coffee shop

Pros: Very good location with easy access to Highway 99, and just across the street from Milt's Coffee Shop.
Cons: Air conditioner was a little noisy
Location: Definitely walk across the street and pay a visit to Milt's Coffee Shop. Very affordable and lots of good eats to choose from.
We were passing through Bakersfield and spent the night here. This was my first stay in a Studio 6 property, and it was a lot like staying in a studio apartment with a loft ceiling, complete with full-sized refrigerator and small kitchenette. Except for a noisy air conditioner the room was quite comfortable and the surroundings were fairly quiet at night. Do remember to bring your own cookware and silverware if you want to do any cooking; they give you a stove and a microwave but that's it. One of the absolute best things about this property is that it is literally across the street from a favorite restaurant of mine -- Milt's Coffee Shop -- which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Bakersfield area.
