Great location down an alley off the main street so quite a bit quieter. Easy walking to lots of bars and restaurants in Seminyak. Staff we fantastic and hospitable.

This stay exceeded all my expectations, if you’re reading these reviews trying to decide wether to choose Akara Villas. Don’t hesitate, book now. Every part of our stay was perfect, great location, exceptional customer service, fabulous ammenities. The location is central within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping and clubs. The staff go above and beyond to cater to anything and everything, from breakfast each morning to your washing and turn down services. Even the bed and pillows were amazing. I would not hesitate to book again, and I will be returning.

Very disappointed
The property was lovely and staff were friendly however all this was ruined by the renovations on the villa next door ( we were in villa 1). We came especially to this property to relax and get away from all hardships with we have had this year. I had to complain every day, 24/25 Dec included about the hammering and drilling and promised by the staff it would cease every day , while trying to enjoy the lovely private pool. We were not prewarned about the renovations and had not booked if told. We are hugely disappointed as this is a lovely property that we did not get to enjoy and a ruined Xmas holiday

Beautiful and gorgeous setup. All the staff was amazing and very helpful. The property was so beautiful and the pool was great size. We couldn’t fault anything! We will be coming again for sure :)

Amazing stay, amazing staff, for a group of 8 the villa was the perfect size, big communal area’s and pool. Breakfast was also superb and delivered to the villa every morning.

Fantastic!
This villa was lovely. Spacious and clean with a touch of luxury. All the rooms were beautifully appointed. Staff were wonderfull and our butler Putu was amazing. Shops and restaurants close by and only a 10 minute walk from Seminyak square. If staff were available they were happy to drive you to locations within close proximity. Breakfast was always good. Pool was large and clean although a little cool. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Great property and great staff could only be made better with 3 small things Improved wifi - it was horrid when we were there. Continually dropping in and out Mosquito control - a problem no matter where you are in Bali but akara should provide body repellent Food - it would be great to have options to order lunch and dinner here

Thank you for your recent stay with us. My apologies for the internet connection failure during your stay. Internet connection on our island is poor. The fiber Optic network on the road sometime loose or accidently cut by the truck passed the lower cables network on the road side. That will take hours to fix. Since we are in tropical area with open air layout, mosquitos is the most issue in certain months. However, we have regular fogging with in the complex, provide mosquito net in each bed, mosquito spray and electric killer. Thank you for your additional input of the mosquito repellent. We will supply natural body repellent that suite every one skin. Lunch and dinner option is available in our villa. There are selection of BBQ and set menu. However, we do not have restaurant onsite. The request must be made 1 day in advance to allow our chef in preparing the. I wish to be in service with you and your family again in the future occasion. Well maintained villa in the heart of Seminyak.
The villa is well maintained and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and walkable distance to many hotspots within Seminyak. Only slight downside was there were many mosquitoes. But I guess it's pretty common amongst villas in Bali and incense and repellents can't really keep them away. Otherwise, it was a really awesome stay.

Big beautiful villa close to everything!
We stayed at Akara Villas with friends and there was plenty of room for our two families - (4 adults and 2 children). The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. Having a security guard on the gate and having to walk past reception made us feel safe that no one who wasn't staying there could get in. The villa is like home from home and we felt very relaxed whilst we were there, lounging round the pool. We stayed in July and the pool felt a little chilly, but once you were in it was fine. The house was big enough for all us all to have our own space - and the upstairs balcony was great especially for the kids to have their own space from around the pool and decking area. The breakfast was very tasty with a large choice and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We loved that they washed our clothes that were put in the wash bin and we also loved that they would take us to anywhere in Seminyak, rather than us having to walk or get a taxi. It was quite expensive to stay here, but as we split the cost with friends, we ended up with a lot of villa for our money, compared to staying at two smaller separate villas. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at Akara Villas and as there are about 6 or 8 villas in the complex you can easily stay with more friends.

Thank you for your details feedback. July was high season where accommodation price all over Bali will slightly increase. We would suggest to come on April-June period. It has much more sun to heat up the outdoor swimming pool and its low season period. We will share to all staff team for your input and will keep it up for your future holiday occasion with us. We stayed in a 4 bedroom Villa which was simply amazing but the breakfast was a letdown. You had to fill in forms the night before on what u wanted for breakfast. I thought they would cook the breakfast in your villa but they came already cooked & no one remembered what they ordered so it was a real mess.

Putra & the staff at Akara were FANTASTIC!! We stayed for 8 nights as we got married in Bali & had our reception in our Villa. They cooked a beautiful BBQ dinner for us - only minor complaint from the night was that the entree’s were cold by the time they were served. But the food was delicious, nonetheless. We have a 2yr old & the staff were amazing with her, they even organised a babysitter twice for us! We were quite nervous about having her babysat in a foreign country - but she was fantastic! Great trip & would definitely stay here again!

Divine Villas - perfect for families
Our family stayed at Akara Villas for 5 nights, we booked the 2 bedroom but it was being renovated so they upgraded us to Villa M (3 bedroom). WOW, what a place to stay. The attention to detail is fantastic, butler service, laundry, ironing and transport to local spots is noteworthy as these things save you a lot of money in the end. The rate includes a full breakfast served by your butler who gets to know your likes and accommodates accordingly. Spacious rooms, living areas, quality linen (all beds had mosquito nets), beautiful decadent bathrooms (lighting is lacking a little for make-up application but this is the norm in Bali), bathtub and showers, cool decor (stone feature walls, tree trunk coffee tables and dining table, gardens throughout, lots of glass, private pool with waterfall, smart TV's with cable satellite channels and great Bluetooth sound system, even magazines and a very comprehensive villa guide - they've thought of everything! Loads of room for entertaining if you were to go with friends or have a special family dinner. The fridge is stocked with mini mart priced drinks and there is a shopping service should you want to cook or have something prepared for you in house - although it is a perfect location for eating out, with so many great restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff are wonderful, unobtrusive and full of warm Balinese hospitality. We had such a relaxing family break at Akara and will definitely be back.

Our stay in Akara is almost perfect. Great service great location. The manager, Purna is helpful in each and every way. Each villa is also allocated with a butler and our butler, Putra cooks delicious delicacy such as snapper, crabs, lobster.. None of us are unsatisfied with every single thing provided. We are absolutely happy and glad that we made the right choice.

Akara is located literally next door to Potato Head. The villas are nice! We were in a 2-BR villa which was very spacious-loved the double sinks in both bathrooms. The pool was always refreshing and perfect temp. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful in arranging scooters/transportation/food. They aren't pushy or too "helpful" like some villas we've stayed at, but they're always available to help with anything. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time at Akara Villas. We are frequent visitors to Bali/Seminyak and our usual accommodation was booked but Akara Villas was a lucky last minute find. Close to all our favourite restaurants and boutiques but tucked away enough for relaxing in peace by the pool. The 2Br villa was small but very comfortable - space around the pool was tight but it was well planned with the living area doors sliding open directly onto the pool creating extra space for us to sit by the pool if needed. The bedrooms had their own well appointed bathrooms and the beds were amazing. Breakfast was served as requested in the morning. The food was great and any special requests were accommodated without hesitation. The service and staff were excellent - friendly, attentive, un-intrusive. Overall our short unexpected stay was a good experience and we will not hesitate to book again.

Sensational Holiday
My husband and l took our two sons to Bali recently and stayed at Akara Villas. It was excellent, the service was amazing. The location of the Villas was amazing, close to all great restraunts and night bars. The only thing l could say would that the lane way near the Villas would be better if it was sealed, but that is Bali for you. We would definately go again and would definately stay at Akara! Loved it!

This was our first holiday in Bali. As a family of four with two adult children we had a relaxing holiday made possible by the friendly staff at Akara Villas. The villa in itself has a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you walk in and is modern, spacious and well equipped with a wide range of amenities. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning from a selection from the menu which was designed to all needs.We were served by our pleasant maid. Great villa in superb location, right on the doorstep of the hottest bars and restaurants, and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. A good choice if you would like the villa experience with young children, as the bedrooms are adjacent and you can have 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Staff are just fabulous and nothing is too much trouble.
