Nice New Hotel

Posted Jan 11, 2016
The hotel is very close to the beach (walking distance). Room is small but comfortable. I wouldn't recommend dining at the restaurant besides buffet breakfast. We went down one night as we were too tired to go out and we were the only guests there. The food is very average and being in Seminyak where it is famous for good restaurants, I would recommend going out for dinner than dining in the hotel. The rooftop bar was nice but again lacked that vibe you would want when going to a bar. When we went up one night, there was only one other couple there., we had one drink and left to another bar.

A good, quiet location in the heart of Legian

Posted Jan 7, 2016
Pros: Being located a bit back from the beach, the hotel was very quiet in the evenings as opposed to hotels along the beachfront where it's noisy.
Cons: Enforce a policy so guests cannot "hog" deck chairs around the pool all day, even when they're not actually there to use them. Also ban smoking.
Location: Close to everything in Legian, Kuta and Semenyak.
We stayed for 6 nights at Ananta and had no problems at all. The room we stayed in overlooked the hotel pool and was spacious, clean and modern. Our days started with a hearty breakfast at the buffet and we either spent time around the pool or walked down to the beachfront, local restaurants or venture farther afield on a scooter. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Good location

New style of hotel that's being built in Bali where land is limited & only offers a room & not much else. Photos look amazing but essentially it's just a room & a rather small pool for the amount of accomodation on offer. limited pool furniture that's claimed early & rarely vacated. Noise 'booms' up through design. Restaurant is on lowest level & being 'rainy season' it's hot & humid with no where for it to escape & with carp pond we had flying bugs invading our breakfast each morning. Food was average ( I've had more choice in places & not rotated offen - which made for hard pancakes, soggy veggie fritters etc) wifi Internet was painfully slow, so we tried the 'kiosk' below which wasn't any better. In General staff always friendly & pleasant with special mention to concierge staff.

Great friendly staff, good location

Posted Jan 3, 2016
Pros: Staff, pool, location
Cons: Extra lighting needed in rooms, couldn't see at night. More room is needed around the pool area for people to walk through.
Location: Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, easy to get a taxi.
Staff were very accommodating and welcoming during checkin. We were there for New Years Eve and they opened the rooftop bar for the night, so we spent the night up there drinking. The staff and guests were all very happy and it was a great night. All staff were lovely and very eager to assist. Overall, it was a great experience, however there are a few minor things that I believe should be changed at the hotel, such as they need more lighting in the rooms. The rooms were quite dark at night even with all lights on and you were unable to read a book in there. Also, the pool was great, I especially liked the swim up bar, however there wasn't much room to walk around the pool to get to the sun beds. I think the area should have been thought out a bit better than it was.

Relaxing although xmas carols in the hallway every morning was an absolute nightmare and loud overkill. Forget about sleeping and the aircon made a deep burring sound! Changed or of one room as aircon didn't work. .. hard to sort out temperature always turning on and off! Staff are accomodating though and friendly.

Pros: Buffet breakfast was great with a big variety each day
Enjoyable stay and the location was great. Close to the beach. I wouldn't recommend to families as I found it more suitable to couples, business travellers and adults alone. Not much for kids to do in the way of swimming space.
