Broken infinity pools tiles should be fixed asap.

Pros: Oeanview suite
Cons: Infinity pool and check in area. Pool attendant should be trained to stow away the sunbed when it rain instead of leaving it there soaking wet.
Location: beach front and walking distance to nail spa and shops selling the same stuffs. Also lots of restaurants nearby.
Check in area don give you a welcome to Bali vibe. Was ushered to sit on the stained sofa while staff processing the check in. Infinity pool to the shower area do not have any handle. At anytime someone is going to fall. Courtyard pool do not have any access to shower area or toilet. Breakfast at the MoonLite Kitchen and Bar was playing chill out music early morning. Guest are there to enjoy the ocean view and breakfast and not there to party at that hour of the day.

We have noted your constructive insight with regards to the day bed and music in the MoonLite during breakfast as well as suggestion to have handle to the shower area. We will discuss it internally for improvement. In the other hand, glad to know you enjoyed our ocean view and our location. With regards to the sofa in the check in areas, we do regular waching every two weeks although it did not make a lot of changes and now we are in the middle of finalizing our Lobby renovation as well as changing all the furnitures. The good and the bad!

After initial excitement we were very disappointed in the overall 'dated and dull' feel of this "5 star " hotel. We had expected peace and serenity but it was very noisy throughout the day and late into the night. We would rate it a 2-3 star hotel, however the staff were it's saving grace - curtious and accommodating they made up for the lack of star trimmings. The breakfast buffet was amazing, we had a different choice every day for the 2 weeks we stayed. Friday night cocktails and dinner on the beach was beautiful and well worth the $. Would we stay here again?... Definitely but when it is renovated.

Amazing service, food needs work

As always the Balinese people and hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. I had stayed up the road at another hotel several times before but was with my partner this time so decided on Anantara. The view is spectacular and room too although there are some areas that need minor attention which I understand will be addressed with an upcoming renovation. I had made a few requests as part of celebrating an anniversary and they were all met. The team even went the extra mile to provide an anniversary cake, flowers and a card. I have previously eaten here and the food was 10/10, best meal I had in bali however this time around it was very disappointing. I'm not sure if the new restaurant at the top has all the good food now but the restaurant on the reception floor needs a lot of work. All in all a great stay but would suggest eating at the many fantastic restaurants available in Seminyak and canngu.

Really deteriorated

The hotel is really in bad conditions. The bathtube quite old. The terrace all broken stones. Painting urgently needed. Staff needs urgently a training. We arrived at 6.00pm... two more clients arrived after, and they were trying to attend to all at the same time, instead of finishing with us first. Then they said it was because they would gave us a better room. When we arrived to the room, really nothing extraoedinary, as I actually paid for a jacuzzi/ocean front room, exacly what we got... I also mentioned that it was our anniversary celebration, and they did nothing. Also, I was supposted to get a discount in our food, and we dosnt received any. Didnt claimed, as we were on hurry and needed to sleep after a trip of 38 hours and a check in of 45 minutes. The worst check in experience! I hope expedia can claim that discount back for credit, as this is the most expensive hotel paid imthis trip to Bali, and it has been the worst. Normally I get good experiences in Vip hotels, but this is really an ugly exception!

Good location & spacious rooms but needs an update

Beautiful boutique hotel situated on the beach

The Anantara Seminyak was an amazing experience for us. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms are unbelievable and we had a spectacular view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at a quiet, luxurious spot in Seminyak.
