Excellent hotel but the mosquitoes!!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Anantara. The staff were so incredibly nice and our room was large and spacious. We had the garden pool villa. My only thing is they don't mention the fact that you are likely to become a feast for mosquitos(exaggeration). It is bearable but it definitely made our stay a little less pleasant. Not to mention a couple of visits from gecko and frogs that might slip in if you leave a door open(or maybe we were just unlucky to get a visit from both?). Don't get me wrong these things are so small compared to all the positives. I would recommend for a short stay like 3 days but if you want to stay for more than that, even a week then you might wanna check out other spots. Because by then the whole mosquito thing will not be cute!! Their room service is excellent, they have handy drivers on the go for you. The views are breathtaking but just be warned that you will really become one with the mosquitos lol!

프라이빗풀 달린 스위트 객실을 사용했는데. 샴푸, 컨디셔너, 바디워시도 개인용이 아니라 디스펜서에 담아디느상태라서 다소 찝찝했으며, 샴푸는 애초에 비어있는 상태였고, 귀찮아서 리필을 요청하지 않기도 했지만, 객실을 하루 2회씩 메이킹 해줌에도 불구하고, 퇴실까지 리필해주지 않았다는 점 때문에 세심하게 관리받는 기분은 아니었습니다. 직전에 3박 했던 스미냑에있는 절반가격의 호텔에 비해 시설은 좋으나, 기분은 별로였습니다. 조식은 메뉴도 다양하고 먹을만 했습니다. 저녁 바베큐 메뉴는 먹을만 하지만 비쌉니다. 가끔 원숭이가 등장하니. 만지지않도록 조심하세요.

Exceptional customer service hotel!

We visited Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort during our honeymoon stay for 5 nights and 6 days during Mid May, and from the minute we arrived to the very last day the staff accommodated us. Dito the assistant manager help us with questions and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The pool staff exceptional and very humble as well. Few things we would have like to have more of at the Resort was more frequent happy hours or vice versa longer time frame of happy hour daily. I think us guest wouldn't mine spending our time and money there instead of making outside arrangements. Other than that, we truly loved our stay and didn't even want to love this beautiful place! Highly recommend this Resort for anyone that's looking for a private getaway full of relaxation. #AnantaraBaliInOurHeartsForALifetime

Excellent location on a limestone rock with the best pool and the best view to the indian ocean ever. Excellent sea food restaurant near the pool.

For the price you pay, be prepared to accept that you are paying for the location/view as there are certainly some shortcomings here. Noisy rooms if in the main building. Not the most comfortable bed. Some maintenance issues. Food good but not great. View...stunning.

Four days relaxing in isolation

Pros: Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was spacious with an excellent bed. Nice Jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the sea ... wonderful!
Cons: When asked to take a copy of "my card", was told they do not accept Debit cards. But, the restaurants there did accept without problem?
Location: Location is remote. Transport is required to go anywhere. My intent was to laze at the hotel which is what I did.
The intent was to "get-away" for a few days ... nice hotel with good amenities and for me this was achieved. BUT ... it should be made clear that this is no place for the elderly or infirm. The hotel is located on a cliff top with its facilities built into escarpments going down the cliff towards the sea. All is very nicely set with a pretty pool area and restaurant at the base. But all this is only accessible by steps, lots of steps. If you have a room at the lower level, and are not fit, it is no easy task going up to the main building for breakfast. Second point; if you want a beach forget this place. They have an "Impossible Beach" which is exactly what it is. It is only accessible via a lift at low tide and even then very little beach. However, for my four days I did enjoy my stay, pleasant staff, good room and very comfortable bed. Point of interest ... the hotel is somewhat isolated so if you require to get out and about then transport is definitely required (which is available at a cost).

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Would definitely return one day. Surcharges/taxes on food and drinks in the hotel are a little steep.

Lovely View

Great hotel but, a LOT of steps so be prepared. Lobby is not really a hangout kind of place so you have to go to the bar by the pool and it gets hot but at least the view is fantastic. Lovely helpful staff that kill you with kindness. There was a lot of construction going on next door so the noise is quite loud.

We were treated like a king and queen! Went in low season and had the pool to ourselves! Perfect 4 nights on our honeymoon
