- Breakfast can be improved in terms of quantity. - Jacuzzi did not work well, bath tub was fine. - The shower could be cleaned and maintained better for this type of property. - Staff members were good. - For room cleanliness, I would give 8/10.

Beautiful villas, excellent service, authentic Bali vibe. Very peaceful and lovely food. Downside is that the property is a bit remote on the eastern side from central Ubud. There is a free shuttle available but only at certain hours, and the traffic is often difficult.

Pros: restaurant near by the Villa . Very quiet area. Beautiful landscape. Cons: breakfast is limited. There is no buffet option. We had the Villa for 4 people when booked but there is only one king bed, so we ended up pay extra more $ for two more beds which cost around $1000000 IDR per night. This place is a bit far from the attraction area such as clear cafe, chat time...... Etc. If you're preferred to be in the quiet area, then this is the place for you. The massage is expensive compared to other spa outside the hotel, however it was good

Lovely stay; recommended.
We loved our stay at Bebek Tepi Sawah. We live in Indonesia so visit Bali frequently, and this was by far one of the best places we've stayed in Ubud. The hotel is beautiful; lots of traditional Balinese features (statues, carvings, batik fabrics) throughout. Our room was well-maintained and clean. We especially liked the balcony and open-air shower. The staff were lovely and extremely attentive. We would definitely stay here again. We both agreed that this would also be a great place to come with a romantic partner.

Best place To stay in Ubud !
We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was excellent. Resort so beautiful, and Great location away from busy parts in Ubud. Hotel provided free car shuttle service on demand so it was very easy to get about. Restaurant food was very good. Do try the Crispy duck !!

Beautiful, relaxing place to stay at surrounded by lush gardens. Spacious, clean room with princess post beds A good selection of breakfast menus to choose from, with good service from staff. Having a halal restaurant next door with the same serene set up made it convenient for food. Overall, an enjoyable family experience.

I don't get it.. this place wasn't "all that". We had a 2 day reservation. We check in.. we are told upon arrival that if we lose the key, we will be charged (understandable). If we get the towels dirty, we will be charged $20. If we get the sheets dirty, we will be charged $20. Frightened to do anything normal, such as wash our face before bed.. it was ridiculous. Also mandatory $500,000 deposit IN CASH "just in case something happens". Breakfast was included, except heres the catch.. we had to pay for the coffee. So it wasn't really all included. The breakfast was good though! Pools were nice. The spa was alright. The gal who did my massage was EPIC! Except, I asked for these Royal treatment package and my friend wanted a different package. We both ended up receiving something totally different. We didn't know what had happened until I asked for these receipt and it said something completely different. That was disappointing. We returned from the spa only 2 hrs after checking in, to find POOP on the floor and a rodent machine hooked up in the wall. Apparently turn down service attached it but there was actual poop moments later. The staff was super quiet and soft spoken. I didn't feel engagement from anyone. It over all was not worth the money and we returned back to the hotel we had just left and stayed there the rest of our trip

The property overall is lovely and great to relax and spend quiet time. The property itself is a bit old and the facilities are a bit run down. For example the rooms we stayed felt outdated and the rooms could do with some serious refurbishment and cleaning. The pool is great; the restaurant attached to the property is very good and convenient; massage in the spa isa just try. They also help you book cars and organise day trips which in my opinion is very helpful and can get you the best deal.

Friendly staff
Staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was nice but felt the bathroom lacked attention a little. The food was really good, we had breakfast in one restaurant and dinner in the main restaurant with many traditional tables dotted round the paddy field. The free shuttle to the centre and back was really handy.

Scenic resort in the center of Ubud
We visited Ubud for 2 days and we were glad we picked this hotel! The resort was beautiful with great scenery all around! If I were to be too critical, I would say that the service could use some improvement but don’t let it sway away your decision from picking this resort :) would definitely come again.

We were in one of the 3 villas. My 2 daughters and I were very happy with the very large room, the outdoor bathroom, jacuzzi in the villa, 2 beautiful pools. We spent one afternoon relaxing after the sunrise hike. It was quiet. The hotel restaurant food was decent and quick. The restaurant right next to it with the same name has very good food we tried for dinner. Staffs were attentive and nice. The rice field remain lush and just as shown on website. The free shuttle to town was good enough for us for one visit. Overall we were very happy. This place exceed our expectation.

Our stay was very nice, quiet and peacefull with friendly staff who were always happy to help and accomodate us. The grounds are lovely, breakfast was nice, and the restauarant had a limited but addequate choice for lunch. The staff at Bebek Tepi were amazing. Going above and beyond at all times. Truly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. Nothing else in Bali compared to my stay.

This was a unique place with beautiful gardens and villas. It was amazing to have a fish pond in our outdoor bathroom (campuhan villa). The included breakfast was amazing ( made to order). The included afternoon tea was not what we expected (it was tea and an appetizer, high quality but no selection of treats). The staff were lovely and the attached restaurant was expensive by Bali standards but worth it, very good, we ate there theee times. The AC worked well and the villas were beautiful. Staff were very attentive and kind.

Gorgeous Hotel!
We had a wonderful stay here! The property itself is beautiful, and the staff were exceptional in their care of us from airport transfers, the free shuttle into Ubud, and organizing a surprise romantic dinner for Valentine's Day. The dinner and the cooked to order breakfast were delicious. The room was huge compared to others on our trip, and our only regret is that we couldn't spend more nights here!

Bebek Tepi Sawah is an excellent place for a relaxing stay. People are extremely gentle and helpful. The shuttle from the hotel to downtown is very convenient. Food is good. There are plentifully choices for breakfast.

My room did not have hot water from shower and I had to call them multiple times to come fix it temporarily. Only until the second night I got access to hot water. The free shuttle did not come pick up on time, they had me waited for 20 min in the heat. The driver I booked for a private tour did not show up on time as well. I booked the tour to catch sunrise, and they had me waited for 15 min. The facilities are old, and not well maintained, especially bathroom. The shower head was broken in my room.

Apologize for some issues that happened with you during your stay at our villas in Ubud regarding the hot water and the shower head. If I can see your name on this review, it will be more helpful for me to investigate the issue with my staff which should not happen to any guests that stay at our villas. Talking about the shuttle service which were not coming on time to pick you up, you should not complain for facilities that offered as complimentary, especially the period of your stay was during the peak season and the traffic jam are everywhere in the island of Bali. I can say that you were not the only one guest that we host for this complimentary service and there were many other guests were using the facilities and see the traffic directly on the street. There are so many shops and restaurant in the city center of Ubud, where you can be in it without having any heat waiting for the shuttle to arrive and to pick you up. I also feel strange why you are complaining about the driver of the activities for your sunrise morning trekking. We are the third party that helps you to book the activities, and you book for a share trip that the driver also has to pickup other guests in other hotel. If you have any chance to read some book about Balinese architecture, then you will understand about respecting local architecture rather than saying old facilities. Just to give you a better sight, that our resort is traditionally design in Balinese contemporary style, to give an experience for the customers that they are having holiday in Bali. We choose this concept, as the modern style of accommodation can be found anywhere of the world. Greeting from all staff and management and we hope to meet you again.

Beautiful small Balinese style hotel set in a rice field, a five minute ride from town centre Very friendly, obliging and pleasant staff many with excellent english, nothing was too much bother, Marday the manager, Dewi and Wayan to name a few were absolutely lovely. Rooms were clean, large and cool with lovely courtyards and views of pool or rice field. Standard Balinese breakfast menu in hotel and inexpensive restaurant attached also which was very popular

A stay to remember Bali by
The hotel very traditional, villa was great size, clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds with rice fields blended into it. The staff were fantastic and would go out of way to help you. Shuttle to Ubud centre very convenient. Good choice of food and you know that restaurant is good when even locals go there. The art gallery was a pleasant surprise and larger then expected. Would stay there on my next visit.

Staff need to be train more
Overall stay was okay. Hotel front desks need more people to help out the guests. There was only one person helped us check in and while doing that she was also helping other guest with their shuttle service appointment which I think lack of professionalism since she hasn’t finish helping us with check in the hotel. She should ask the next guest to wait until she’s done helping us, instead we were put on hold and wait longer to be check in! Also, hotel only has 2 bath towels unlike other hotel normally has washcloth and hand towel

Beautiful, quiet villas with top service
Our stay at Bebek Tepi Sawa was amazing. A fantastic base from which to visit the must see Bali destination of Ubud and also a great space to hang out and relax for those rest days you need to have more of. Transfers, day tours, massages, great breakfasts and room service - it was a great destination for a couple looking to experience Bali. The romantic dinner was lovely. The staff were amazing at all times and we thoroughly recommend!
