Awesome time staying at the Grand Barong.

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Location: In the heart of Kuta, walking distance to shops, great restaurants, bars for young people and the Kuta nightlife.
Our room was exactly what we expected- clean and as the pictures on the internet looked. Staff clean your room everyday, but are also environmentally conscious. The pool bar was fun and they staff create a great environment to meet other travellers. The fire dancers on the Thursday night are great. The buffet breakfast is nice and the overall menu caters to every traveller. In the heart of Kuta, walking distance to shops, great restaurants, bars for young people and the Kuta nightlife; once you enter the hotel you cannot hear any of the hustle and bustle from the street- bliss. Absolutely loved staying here.

party hotel.

Posted Sep 11, 2016
Pros: staff and location
Cons: noise to the rooms. cant sleep at night because of the loud noises outside.
Location: 5 min walk to legian street and 10 mins to beach.
party hotel reason for this is. great spot close to everything!. dont stay here if your not single. you can hear the bass from the nightclubs through your hotel room!!! so hard to sleep. beds were un comfortable. however friendly staff and not a bad breakfast. i would stay here again but it wouldnt be my first option. Choose the pool access room so you you can save some money by swimming back to your room to get drinks out of fridge save you paying pool bar prices.

The International Party!

Posted Sep 8, 2016
Pros: The room that I was in is on the ground floor, you step in to the room then step in to the pool can't get better than that
Cons: not enough hooks to hang your wet stuff in the room or bathroom the bed is made daily but don't expect a new toothbrush no minibar
Location: This hotel is tucked behind a small frontage in poppies 2 just off Legian it is close to the clubs and beach and is situated in the heart of shopping
The hotel is located in the bars and night club district so if you think it is going to be loud you are wrong you can't hear the night clubs? but who cares when you are at this hotel you are the night club the pool bar opens at 10 am and closes about 10 pm happy hour starts at 4pm amazing eye candy for everyone. conclusion: if you are looking for a hotel to meet people and have a good time this is it.

Week at the Barong

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pros: How the bottom rooms open up to the pool, which has lots of shade.
Cons: happy
Location: Centrally located to bars, clubs and shopping. A short walk to to the beach.
Perfectly situated and close to shops, restaurants and beach. The reception area is deceiving, being small and noisy. But the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic and very clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is a help yourself banquet. The pool is amazing with a swim up bar, very relaxing, however it can become party central as most patrons tend to mix over a few beers.. Recommend and I'll be beck..

Nice hotel on poppies 2

Posted Aug 20, 2016
Pros: Location on poppies 2
Cons: Pool cleanliness
Location: Easy walking distance to Legian street the beach and into kuta
Nice hotel ,the main pool at the front of the hotel was clean ,but the back pool where the pool bar is needs a good clean ,very cloudy, diffeantly wouldn't put your head under the water Staff are helpful ,rooms are nice ...but it's a noisey hotel specailly late at night to early hour of the morning with the night clubs up on Legian st . Put this is in no fault of the hotel as they cannot control night clubs so just pack some ear plugs if your a very light sleeper ...nice stay

Money Harass

Posted Aug 19, 2016
Hotel & facilities nice. Staff harassment over your bills is pathetic. If you are there for a week why would they hassle you on day 2 for $1.50 for a coffee..... They can't control the noise at 03.00/ 04.00 when drunkards get in. Food plates were still outside your room 2 days later.
