Beautiful hotel overlooks river and close to townPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The view/location by the river can not be topped.
Cons: The bathroom seemed a little aged, but still clean.
Location: Plenty to do nearby, we enjoyed all the restaurants, the Karsa Kafe ridge walk and the tours that can take you cycling through rice patties.
Great hotel, complimentary breakfast was delicious. Our room had a beautiful view of the jungle and the natural spring pool. The staff and service was very helpful and prompt. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main streets of Ubud, so we visited the nearby museum, Monkey Forest, shopping and restaurants without ever having to use a Taxi (although there are plenty of taxis).

Finally found the soul of BaliPosted Aug 3, 2015 on Wotif
This place is just amazing, most picturesque escape I've ever had. I'm always searching for the wow factor of this oasis, however rarely find anything close to this gem! Recommend without any hesitation.

Haven of paradisePosted Jul 28, 2015
My adult daughter & I stayed on 21/7/15 in this absolutely gorgeous peaceful bit of paradise. We discovered our lovely room via a little winding path. Then we explored & found a beautiful spring pool, but if you keep exploring via the little paths, you will discover another pool & below that one you can keep going down the hill to the lovely brook/or river when it rains. We booked ourselves in for a wonderful massage (one of the best I've ever had followed by a spice rub & lovely bath & finished off with a moisturiser rub. Mmmmmmm brilliant. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel for either a long or short stay.

Beautiful, classic, historic hotelPosted Jun 13, 2015 on Hotels
This is a beautiful hotel, with a great history and beautiful carvings. It is convenient to the Champuan Ridge walk which we loved. Pools are great. Breakfast is amazing. Very nice people work there. Spa is an incredible structure with all the carvings-a must see. However we had my 75 year old father with us who is a little unsteady, and since it was rainy season the steps were slippery-there are a lot of steps!!!-we had to move to another hotel. I would stay here again.

A haven for rejuvenationPosted Jun 9, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is something special! The surroundings are utterly beautiful and you are transported to another world once you enter despite being just off the main road in a very convenient location. A place to rejuvenate your soul.

Super hôtel mais RustiquePosted Jun 5, 2015 on Hotels
Un cadre magnifique, un hôtel chargé d'histoire mais dont les commodités ne sont plus au goût du jour!
