I would not stay there again. Reception unattended until around 11am. I tried to order dinner around 7pm and they were completely out of food except for wheat noodles which I could not eat. Some chicken, but no salad or vegetable, no fish ect, all of which was on the menu. No restaurants close by either. Just a very poorly run guesthouse.

Bali Hidden Gem

Posted Jun 20, 2016
Pros: Quiet location, almost the pool to yourself and a good breakfast. Helpful friendly staff.
Cons: Some maintenance issues e.g mixer tap fixing Some English TV channels would be nice Shuttle bus service working again would be good too
Location: Away from normal tourist areas, quiet location, but taxi only $3 to Kuta, Seminyak etc. Some nice local eating only a short walk away.
A small holel (13 rooms) in a quiet location away from main tourist areas. A short walk to mainly Indonesian restaurants, but Cosmic Diner & McDonalds nearby too. Standard / Superior rooms a bit basic but Deluxe rooms adequate. All rooms clean and tidy. Deluxe roms are around a good but small swimming pool which we had all to our self most of the time. Good breakfast in the morning, available from 7-11 am. The best feature of this hotel however is the friendly and very helpful staff.

You get what you paid for

Posted Jan 25, 2016 on Lastminute
The location of the guest house is 125meters down a dirt road off sunset road. Yes it was in a very quiet area but there wasn't much around it in close proximity. There was sunset star and Bali udung in walking distance, but that was about it. The room was run down, the wooden bed head was rotting away and the air-conditioning was low wattage and took a long time to cool down the room. The bathroom is not modern but spacious and like I said" You get what you paid for".

personable guest house

Pros: Private , secluded and friendly staff
Location: Legian and Kuta shops and beach 10-15 mins by shuttle van or taxi
Booked from review and was not disappointed. Rooms clean , staff personable , location skeptical but dissipated after great service from staff. Taxi to Legian or Kuta around 20-40,000 rupiah $2-4 Aussie dollars depending on traffic or wait for the free shuttle van. Pool great to sit in and guest house food tasty and cheap. Location private and secluded from traffic amongst the local people residence. May not tick the boxes for people who like a large pool and swim up bar as this is not it. Staff made it a great stay and other guests were friendly and mixed in nationality

Great Rooms & Amazing Staff!!!

Posted Oct 14, 2015 on Lastminute
My wife and I had a very good experience at Legian Guest House. Highlights are the staff friendliness, room comfort and cleanliness, free shuttle every hour to Legian Beach, extremely affordable meals, nice pool and great privacy for couples! The downside is the location, it's fairly close to the beach area but the street of the hotel is very bumpy and hard to drive on. Overall experience inside the hotel was GREAT! Recommended rate 90% due to bad road ;)

looking for a quiet, friendly, affordable Base?

Pros: Everything, but mostly the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
Cons: Increase the choices of food and beverage available
Location: walk to an ATM round the corner, restaurant's , little supermarket, Krishna, McDonalds, Starbucks . shuttle bus to beach and shopping.
The staff at this Guest House is really what makes the stay so special. They treat you like family. The rooms are serviced everyday, the surrounding areas are cleaned everyday. Transport and tours can be organized for you. Shuttle bus to the beach is available every day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a variety of food available from 8.00 am till late. Out the front of the Guest House is a nice little area to sit under the trees and have a cuppa away from the hustle of life.
