Basic but highly recommended
Basic room but the hotel itself was very well managed and looked very tidy. Staff were very pleasant and our room was dressed beautifully on arrival. Breakfast was great.

You get what you pay for. . .
This hotel was adequate for a one night stay while in transit. The overall condition of our room was run down with several repairs needed, including a phone that was not working and no hot water. The location is near a busy intersection with few visitor-friendly amenities close by. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful with basic requests. Overall, our stay was not worth more than what we paid which was less than half of the ‘regular’ rate.

BYO aerogard to enjoy the gardens and pool
Beautiful gardens but a lot of biting insects. Very difficult to cross the busy road at front to go anywhere. Booked a non smoking room but the balconies had ash trays and neighbors smoking on their balcony carried smoke to mine. Yuck Housekeeping came every day at appropriate times. Restaurant food very good.

Quite, short walk to beach.
Nice quite stay for the price. Value for money. Clean pools and large outdoor area close to rooms. Shuttle bus to sister hotel on beach was great. Downside:- no hot water, noisey and leaking air conditioner, better value services and massage on street.

2 night stay
We were more than happy with our hotel and I was travelling with a 5 year old and 7 year old. There are 2 lovely outdoor pools - pool towels provided. And there was a chance to have a massage next to the pool. Meals were lovely and free room service. Full taxi service at reception and we landed a driver for the day who took us around for coffee tasting, bird park and kecak fire dancing. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Also the location was in walking distance to the fast boat kiosks going to nusa penida and nusa Lembongan.

Though originally we have some issues at check in and bed, the crew finally fixed it. The English of the crew should be improved, and others like environments and design of the house are good. I will still recommend it.

Excellent stay!!
Loved everything about this hotel, is very quiet despite being on a busy street. Very friendly hotel staff and also the quests I was fortunate to meet who also stayed there. Agus was especially kind to trust me with his bicycle so I could ride along the beach walk, vey grateful. Thank you so much for my wonderful 4 night stay at the Puri Dalem hotel in Sanur.

A quiet place in the middle of the busy by-pass.
The breakfast is acceptable. Nothing great. However, the menu for lunch and dinner is well worth a look. The salad with seared tuna was excellent, up there with expensive restaurants. The pork spare rib was delicious and ample amount. Great bbq sauce, not spicy. Prices are good. Both of dishes cost about 10 USD.

The rooms need a refurb but the complex with its two pools and thatched roofing give the hotel some style. The staff are cheerful and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is good. The beach is a short walk away but you do have to cross a busy road. There is a wide choice of bars and restaurants in Sanur a short taxi ride should cost 30k to 50k Rupiah.

Nice pool area but needs a scrub, filthy room, leaking air conditioner, sheets were old and grey, only one towel for pool and shower use, restaurant floors need a good scrub and they put us in a twin room not asouble then grumbled a bit when I asked them to put the beds together for my husband and myself. Charged 200,000 IRP to extend our stay by 4 hours because my husband was too sick to leave the room. Would not stay again and would not recommend.

Great budget location close to the beach
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. For the price we paid, it was reasonably central and close to the beach and some good restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pools were great. The buffet breakfast changed daily and was really tasty. The bonus was the shuttle bus to the more upmarket sister resort which was right on the beach - and we were able to use their facilities during the day.

Bit to too far from anywhere
We found that the location was'nt very good for us as we had to get transport just to go to the beach. There were no restuarants within walking distance, no massage spas or pubs. One little shop across the road but you had to cross the main road. My Friend had bed bugs in her bed, was covered in bright angry red rash and was itchy for days. She got downgraded to another room and no offer of any money back. The massage lady rips you off and doesnt do the full hour as quoted. Charges 150000 for one hour, make sure you time her she will not do the full hour so you have to keep track. The breakfast costs 60000 and is terrible, no choice except rice, noodles and egg. Occasionally there is pancake, and the fruit was covered in fruit flies.

Super, friendly hotel
The hotel was super, the staff friendly and extremely helpful. The gardens and pools were lovely and the only downside to the hotel being the 10 min walk along busy roads to the beach. This was resolved by a free shuttle and readily available cheap taxis. Strongly recommend this hotel for superb value for money.

I stayed upstairs in one of the cute little houses in the front and loved my stay! The room was simple but clean and had running hot water, a safe, AC and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. They have two pools actually, both were beautiful, clean and refreshing. The cute garden is well maintained and there's a little temple in the center. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The staff was absolutely wonderful and did everything they could to make my stay memorable. there's a convenience store across the street for water etc. Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach though you want to take a stroll on the promenade to find a nice and clean spot. ATM on the premises.

Great for passing through Sanur
Arrived later in the evening after coming from the airport. First night in Bali on the way to Nusa Lembongan so left early the next morning to catch the ferry. Staff were great and friendly. Grounds were well taken careful. Breakfast was fine. We did not stay long but it fulfilled all out needs.

Decent hotel at a reasonable price
The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the staff very accommodating. However, the room itself was in need of a fresh coat of paint and water came out of the shower/bath onto the floor where fortunately a small drain had been installed. It is a short walk to the beach or you can take their free shuttle. For the price, I would stay there again.

A pleasant stay near Sanur beach
The hotel has a very quiet and pleasing environment. It's close by the beach with 5 mins walking distance. Staff service was excellent and the room was clean and spacious. We will most likely stay here again on our next visit.

A beautiful surrounding with intermittent wi-fi
The room was simple but where this hotel really shines is the ambiance. Right off of a busy street, you only have to walk through the lobby to be transported somewhere amazing. A beautiful pool (that is always warm since it sits in the sun all day) with beautiful trees all around. It's very relaxing. The only issue I had with our stay was the Wi-Fi. When it worked it was a decent speed but it cut out often for long periods of time and the staff didn't seem to understand the problem. Aside from that the hotel was wonderful and their restaurant makes delicious food.

Beautiful little hotel
We got welcome drinks straight away. The pool and the hotel area was so pretty with all the statues and a small temple. Rooms were in tiny cottages and our room was very cosy and clean. We even had a tv. Staff was friendly too. Breakfast was included and it was big enough.

Great location to local food and bars, beach. If you want to just chill for a few days away from juta this is a great little find. Jazz and grill bar around the corner great staff and sounds. Beach bar fantastic food and sounds and friendly staff.

Puri Dalem stay
The Puri Dalem in Sanur, Bali was absolutely wonderful. The setting was gorgeous with luscious greenery and a heart shaped swimming pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious....banana pancakes an noodles and eggs were our favorites. The room was clean and spacious and they accommodated us with an additional bed for a third person.

Nice little quite hotel in a quieter and less touristy area of town. Trying to walk anywhere further than a block from the hotel is nearly impossible because of a lack of sidewalks, so plan on taking cheap taxis everywhere.

Pleasant Budget Stay
The hotel was wonderful, the room was extremely clean, the staff service was amazing, and it is in a great location. The only thing I wasn't too pleased with were the conditions of the bathroom, they could be better kept, but the rooms are great and very clean. The restaurant at the hotel is great and the food is delicious. There is a convenience store right across the street from the hotel and a KFC and Dunkin Donuts a block down; great for when you want to grab a quick safe meal. We reserved three rooms and when we got there found that they were all connected, they also added an additional cot in one of the rooms that was very comfortable to sleep in.

Economic and Friendly
We stayed at the Puri Dalem Sanur Hotel during the Idul Fitri holiday in Indonesia. When we first checked in, the room we had was decently clean and comfortable, but the washroom had three small centipedes in the bathtub. I called the hotel reception to request a change in rooms. They were very polite and said there were none available that night but we could change the following night. I refused to take a shower that night with my 3 friends, and we were able to successfully change rooms the following night. The new room was a lot better - bed made, everything was clean (no bugs!) and even decorated with orchid flowers :) We stayed 1 week and had no other issues with the room. Breakfast was also included every morning, so everything was great. On one occasion, we arrived back from dinner to find them still cleaning our room, but the hotel manager came and introduced himself to us and apologized for the delay. It turned out well as he shared about some half-day and full-day tours we were able to join. Our vacation was very enjoyable and relaxing and we would definitely consider going back to the Puri Dalem Hotel at Sanur again! Thank you for reading!
