Just a beautiful resort with friendly staff. I stayed here and then returned to stay again. For some reason I had zero GI issues with their food, the only place in Bali that I can say that about.

Quiet resort on the beach.
One issue after I arrive was the room I was given the AC wasn’t working properly. They promptly gave me an upgraded room. Very nice resort and nice pool near the beach. Very professional spa rooms.

We wanted somewhere super relaxing and quiet and this was the place. The family room was a great size, the pool was terrific and the staff were lovely.

I stayed a night in the property and they give an excellent service. My friend unfortunately fall sick when we stayed there and the staff make sure that we have everything fulfilled during the stay. I would recommend this property for people who looks for peaceful area in candidasa.

We loved our stay. The staff were so personable and friendly. No request was any trouble. The facilities were lovely and our family enjoyed the complimentary activities - the morning walk through the rice paddy fields was definitely worth it and the daily afternoon teas a wonderful way to end the day. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. A quiet oasis after spending the day sightseeing.

Hotel was very good. Food was well cooked and presented. Room was very comfortable. Hotel on sea front. Note the hotel is around 90 minutes from main airport.

Relaxing stay with nice pool area
Thankfully the lady hotel manager came to our rescue and provided us with a suitable room for a family of three. Had she not this part of our Bali experience would have been difficult as the room given was small and damp smelling. We politely asked her to consider moving us to another and she duly obliged, once all check in had completed. The studio she gave us was light years better and made us feel far more relaxed and happy with the room rate that we paid. All staff could not be falted and their level of service was high in standard. Only negative was the bar and restaurant which was in need of revamp and thought as to how to keep guests from walking into town to find a better variety of food and entertainment. A lovely view from the pool area and a worthwhile trip away from the bustle of Seminyak

Great place to stay
We loved the appearance of the hotel and it's proximity to the beach. We spent a lot of time in the delightful pool area and took advantage of the daily happy hour cocktails. Unfortunately there is not much sand on the beach at the hotel, and a lot of rocks makes walking into town along the beach impossible. Our room was nice, but small. The bathroom was quite roomy and everything was very clean. The staff were very attentive and the daily activities provided were fun. Breakfast was very good, but we didn't think much of the dinner menu. There was a free daily shuttle to and from town at a certain time of day - if this was more flexible it would be more convenient to guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and east Bali was a pleasant and quite change. We would return.

Nice location , poor food and no lift in building.
Although the location is very nice and the hotel pool and dining areas good the food left a lot to be desired. It appears mostly to be reheated and often was served partially heated. We were also on the 6th floor which is usually ok though there is no lift so please consider this if booking.

Quite Part of Bali, very relaxing.
My three friends and myself from Melbourne enjoyed our experience of Rama Candidasa (pronounced locally as Chandidasa), the massages were great, the food excellent and fresh, the pool and amenities fantastic, the free events, basket weaving and yoga were really good. Our day trip to White Sands Beach with snorkelling and lunch, was unforgettable. Love you and miss you so much.

Outstanding staff and pool area
The staff went above and beyond to be as warm and helpful as possible. The resort us situated in s besutiful spot on the waterfront , we were so impressed with the food selection and quality we dined in the restaurant fir all meals ! The food was five star standard , I'm a chef by trade and couldn't fault breakfast lunch or dinner , defiantly a high light !

I along with my friend stayed for 9 days at rama candidasa and found the stay very enjoyable, the staff were very helpful and friendly, food was nice but buffet got abit boring, enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go and relax.

The hotel and the amenities were good, but the standard garden view rooms are small and ill-maintained. The air-conditioning was shoddy. The bathroom was in a mess. The drainage was blocked, with the wash basin and bath tub overflowing. There was little pressure in the jet shower of toilet seat. The sea view rooms and villa might be better, but the standard rooms are not worth a stay..

Absolutely loved it! Staying as a couple or on your own is excellent. You have a quite 5 star feeling with the service and the staff. The Spa is superb but not cheap. Will not stay there with the children under 12. However, loved the retreat-like feellig to myself.

Beautiful hotel, lovely pool, friendly service staff could'nt do enough for you. Plenty of free activities. Yoga in the zen garden was wonderful. Bit of a long walk into the village but plenty of taxis and many restaurants offer free pick up service. Bit disappointing that no easy access to the beach .

Very laid back area,hotel setting is beautiful. Lots of loungers that look out to the ocean. Restaurant overlooks ocean also and we found the food good quality. Happy hour on cocktails 4-7pm. A solid 4 star hotel

Beautiful location right on the beach.
We had a lovely 2 night stay. Access to snorkeling and basic fishing plus very relaxing environment around the pool area. Room was brilliant and had such a comfortable bed we didn't want to get out of it. Recommend to anyone who's after a quieter location in Bali.

Had a lovely stay at Rama. My only criticism is that the rooms are a little tired and could do with updating. The showers aren't the best if you are over 5'5 in height. We specifically picked this hotel as we read you could snorkel off the beach, but the snorkelling hit and miss depending on the tide and roughness of the sea. Some days were just too wavy for snorkelling. Other than that the staff were lovely, good was great. Would stay there again!

Great resort with nice views and pool
We stayed here for one night after returning from the Gili Islands and before leaving Bali. The resort is tucked away on a side street and it appears that there isn't much of anything within short walking distance. That's okay though, because the resort has everything you need. This is a real resort that offers activities for the guests, has grounds to explore with gardens and ponds, has its own waterfront restaurant, and excellent service. We were greeted at checkin with a refreshing welcome drink. We stayed in an ocean view bungalow which was nice. I'm not sure the ocean view itself was worth it, since we had to look about 150 feet across the pool to see the water, but the close proximity to the pool and restaurant was nice. From the pool and lounge chairs, the view is spectacular. The pool was surfaced with porcelain tiles. This added to the luxury feel of the place and felt good on our feet. This resort doesn't really have a beach, although supposedly there is a beach immediately next to the resort. We didn't check that out, but you can see it from the resort, and the water looked too rough to swim or snorkel in. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and the bedding was very comfortable. The restaurant was delicious for dinner, and the free breakfast buffet was great as well. Great tasting food and lots of variety. Probably a great place to stay if you plan on seeing places in East Bali, but there isn't much in the area that you can walk to.

The quieter side of Bali
We stayed in room 325 and were very pleasantly suprised with a spotless downstairs and equally spotless and spacious bedroom upstairs, with a super comfortable king bed. The bathroom was huge and the two balconies had sea views and mountain views. Loved the swimming pool which was kept immaculately clean. The grounds in general were always welcoming and kept in excellent condition. Nothing was too much to ask for and always delivered quickly and with a smile. Excellent service. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend it

Little piece of paradise
We have just returned from a two week holiday at this hotel. It was fabulous and had everything that's needed for that perfect Holiday. From start to finish. The staff were very friendly right down to the Towel men. Food and service was excellent and always with a smile. The only complaint I would have is that the bathroom could do with an update. But then again that's not important.

Peaceful hotel in beautiful location
Beautiful peaceful hotel in quiet location right on the water. No beach but pool right by ocean makes up for this. Our room was clean & modern, we had no complaints with the room. The food at the Garpu Restsursnt was great, especially dinner. Breakfast was included, Buffett style. Friendly staff in hotel $ restaurant.

Nice Hotel but let down by less than average food
We stayed for 10 days in Rama Candidsa, that area of Bali is lovely. The hotel itself was very nice, gardens, surrounds and the rooms. However the breakfast food was really not good at all. Always had the impression that it was last night leftovers - not a huge selection either but we were OK with that just what was offered was below average. Yet the evening food was great - we joked that they had a trainee chef in the morning and main chef in the evening. I wouldn't recommend the hotel because of the standard of food. Also you need to be aware the hotel is 2.5 km's away from the town- although the hotel does offer a free shuttle service at 10 am.

Enjoyed Rama, 3rd time now,but their food menu, hasnt been changed in years,we had to go to restaurants in town, to enjoy our food, Ramas breakfast had flies all over the pastries,it was disgusting. Very comfortable hotel though. We were also charged over $151 extra for our 12 year old daughter to sleep on the couch for 3 nights, bedding was placed on the couch, but $151 AUD, is totally unacceptable.

We only had two nights here but wished we had stayed longer, truly a fabulous 5 star hotel at such a reasonable price. Great food in restaurant that overlooks the ocean, amazing pool with poolside bar service especially their 3 hours of cocktail happy hour. Many free activities the hotel provides including bicycle tour of the area. Highly recommend the Rama resort and most definitely will stay with them next time we are in Candidasa.

Two Week Stay.
We stayed here for 2weeks and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The ammenities are great,pool is lovely with a awesome view over the ocean. Staff are very friendly. On our last night we had a romantic dinner for two which was part of our honeymoon package it was fantastic, they set up a beautiful table with candle posts in the beach sand overlooking the ocean, food was fantastic. The only negative is our bathroom was very small and the shower was very hard to control the temp. Next time we stay here we will go for a ocean view room. Thanks for a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

A suprise awaites you.
A fantastic surprise packet for this medium sized Hotel in Candidasa and within a 30-minute slow walk to the main town or the hotel shuttle. The town itself is only very small. The town has a good selection of restaurants, convince stores and ATMs. The restaurants will pick you up and drop you off afterwards providing you eat at their place. However the Ramacandidas Hotel has a awesome restaurant with fantastic food and very reasonably priced. It was a surprise enjoyed several times. Buffet breakfast is also exceptionally good. Garden bungalows are at the front of the hotel and nearest to the beach and pool. Premium beds with pillow top were a bonus.
