Was just a one night stay as our flight was delayed and our plans changed. Having said that, we found the bed rock hard and the room quite average for the per night cost. So probably would not like to stay longer.

So relaxing
We had such a relaxing time after getting out of busy Seminyak. It was such a change coming here. The resort is right on the beach, however the beach is not needed as the resort has three swimming pools. The service of the pool staff was outstanding. They were friendly and efficient and were there to help all day long which made us not want to leave. There is also a tennis court and table tennis in the resort and you can hire push bikes on the beach side of the resort. I'd recommend a late afternoon ride along the beach. There are many other restaurants along the beach side of the resort as well as the main street being just a few minutes walk away, so there are so many options available close by.

Absolute bliss. Well designed resort, cool vibe, quiet even when busy, The Brrd House restaurant is gorgeous, beachfront setting spectacular and serene. Love North Sanur - chilled out vibe. Will defo be staying again!

Resort style accommodation. Deluxe room could use a refresh. Lovely pools…both adult and child oriented. Lovely restaurant with cool vibe all day and evening. Best beach side restaurant/lounge/bar in Sanur Beach. Lovely roped off beach, bike rentals for exploring the village and 5km beachfront bike path. A lovely gem of a resort catering quite eloquently to both adult only and families.

Highly recommend - Fantastic hotel
Amazing hotel - couldn’t rate it high enough. The position is unbeatable being right on the beach, always plenty of sun loungers in beach and beautiful water to swim in. Food at hotel is great particularly breakfast buffet. Also plenty of great restaurants along beach so you are spoilt for choice. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable beds, perfect spot to retire to after day exploring. By far the best thing about Segara is the staff, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is fantastic. Ketut Suryati in particular is such an asset to the hotel, she looked after us so well and made us feel like family. Have stayed at Segara for many years and will continue to return and recommend to friends and family.

An absolutely pleasurable stay from check in to check out. The grounds were a perfectly maintained slice of paradise with many relaxing settings to sit in, and although busy over the weekend, it still felt like we had space all to ourselves. The restaurant was lovely, and the traditional breakfast enjoyable, it would have been nice to have more traditional Indonesian dishes to choose from on the menu, overall though I rate it highly. The room was modern and very clean and we loved lazing on the outdoor sofa watching the birds and squirrels. Did not want to leave! We will be back again.

This is a lvely facilitty, rooms ar clean and comfortable and gardens and pools are lovely. Breakfast was adequate but not quite like pre COVID. My only complaint is the lack of water pressure in the shower. Took half and hour to have a normal shower and I had to find a hairdresser to wash my hair as the shower wasn't adequate to rinse out shampoo

Nice property. Excellent morning buffet which was included in our room rate. Excellent bar! The lunch and dinner menu is the same and was fine.....just seemed a little limited. We ate off property for lunch and dinner most of the time for more meal choices. Pools are really nice and the hotels grounds were very well kept. The room was a little smaller than expected. All in all we would stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful has a big green tropical garden, we stayed there before. Pools are great. Rooms are small, but the biggest problem is there is no where to put towels, or wet clothes inside the room. The hotel had a big renovation turned into a beach club hotel. Very noisy, the restaurant has loud music on all day. The hotel became a open to public resort. Means, anyone from the street, can come in, pay $20, and can swim in the pools and enjoy all the benefits of an expensive hotel, where we in-house guests paying over $2500 for a stay. Because of that, thr pools are full of Balinese kids and families, which is just after covid, it’s not the safest to do. I felt like it’s a public pool. Restaurant every night by 6 pm is fully booked due to walk in customers. There was no table for in-house guests. In my 12 days of stay, I couldn’t have one dinner at the restaurant. Restaurant staff is Very lovely and helpful. Reception staff is great, but I heard when they upgraded for a Balinese family there room for free just because they asked, When I asked how much to upgrade they told me is $40 per night. This hotel used to be quite, with traditional music in the morning. If you looking for a quite place than this is not for you.

The staff were wonderful and the facilities were nice. The buffet breakfast was great and they changed the local food options every day. We had to give 4 stars due to construction on site. It didn’t bother us in our room, but if you sat by one of the pools you could hear a lot of construction noise all around. It should be very nice when it’s completed and we would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing seven days.
We really enjoyed the resort, in spite of the ongoing construction. We spent most of our time at the beach which afforded great views of the bay and neighbouring island. The water was ideal for swimming and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas available. We didn’t use the pools just because of personal preference for the beach but there were the usual chair hogs at the smaller pool. We did eat at the restaurant several times but there are numerous other restaurants along the boardwalk. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient in the restaurant and our room attendant was great. We would certainly recommend this resort and look forward to seeing how it looks after reconstruction. Hopefully we can return some day.

Lovely stay, will be back!
Lovely hotel, clean and modern rooms and amazing grounds. The pools were clean and great to relax. The beach is right on the doorstep with views of the volcano on a clear day. The breakfast was great, freshly made eggs, hot and cold food and fresh fruit. The other meals in the restaurant were just as good and we enjoyed eating there. There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the beach front within an easy walk. They are currently renovating one area which looks as though it will be amazing when finished. The works did not effect our stay at all. The jacuzzi bar topped off the experience 😊

A lovely stay
It's hard to leave a fair and accurate review of this hotel as it was under big renovations when we stayed and so it would be unfair to judge it solely on our stay. However, despite the works our stay was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Plus the food in the restaurant on the beachfront was amazing! We spent many lovely nights there.

A Wonderful, Winter Holiday
We booked this hotel for our winter holiday getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Here are my comments on the following areas: Service: The hotel’s service is excellent and we felt completely comfortable our entire stay. Construction: Prior to booking this hotel, I was notified through Hotels.com that the hotel was under construction, but didn’t realize that meant the main pool. So we were a bit disappointed when we didn’t get to enjoy the stunning ocean views from the main infinity pool that were so beautifully advertised in photos on Hotels.com. (In hindsight, I should have checked the hotel’s website directly where they are completely transparent about the construction). Restaurant/Daily Breakfast Buffet: The hotel also did an excellent job of moving their restaurant to an impressive, temporary structure right on the beach. So each morning, we would enjoy our breakfast with an ocean view. The breakfast buffet was more than sufficient for our needs, and provided an excellent variety of western foods in addition to some local dishes. Location: I really liked that this hotel was within walking distance of the night market, where we would go almost every evening to enjoy local cheap eats.

A good place to stay if you visit Nusa Perida. The hotel is good for 4-star. However, the service is out of touch since I request a hair dryer which is standard for any hotel but can not get once with over 5 calls and stops at front desk over 3 day period.

Everything about this stay in Sanur at the Segara was fantastic. Grounds are beautiful and staff most accommodating. Renovations were occurring at the time but they provided free meals in recognition of this inconvenience. However we weren’t near renovation site so noise was minimal. Really lovely place.

We first came here in 1986, and continued doing so for about 10 years before heading to other parts. What we liked then, like so many others, was the staff. When we saw that Nyoman Priantini, Ketut, Rai and Dayu had been kept on as Client Relation people, we thought that was a very good idea and returned this month, just before the renovations started. We would have done so had we not seen their names in reviews. The resort retains its open space concept which is so comfortable, and is about to make wholesale changes to the main entertainment/dining/bar area, so for those who know the place, a bit of negotiation might be worth a try over the next 4 months or so.

Great hotel to relax. Lots of space and amenities.
Segara Village is a lovely place to stay. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and spacious. It has pools and direct access to the beach. The reef is dead but still provides a breakwater between the sea and land. There are plenty of eating options along the beach boardwalk. So, very comfortable onsite but no feeling of having to stay in hotel all the time.
