Pros: The staff were very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible
We stayed for 3 out of the 5 days booked at the Tanjung Villas and had a lot of issues with the accommodation. Although the villas are large and have lots of potential the amenities are outdated. Hot water not working on the 15th of June and there was no one in the office outside until the next morning which we were advised is monitored 24hrs a day. As we had my 5 month old nephew with us not being able to bathe him was a major issue. WIFI had service but did not work at all and no landline phone was provided in the villas so could not contact any family members or management when there was no-one in the office. No signs on the streets leading to the villas so was hard to find for taxis which often led to them driving up and down the alley for a long time.Too many mosquitoes and the stagnate water feature in the front entrance was a mosquito larvae breading ground. We bought several mosquito coils and had them going around the clock but they did not seem to work. There was people on the roof near the open skylight which faces directly into our bathroom. Doors were not secure, safe only locked via key not pin code so was unsafe. My brother got bitten by a dog walking down the alley to get to the main strip, which is not the managements fault but gives you an idea on the issues we faced being that the villas are found down a shady alleyway.

Location of villa tucked away in a lane but lots of noise from villa construction next door. Location about 300 mts from Bintang Supermarket was great. Villa requires maintenance, update required for kitchen and bathrooms.Pool was clean and villa overall was nice. Each day for the 8 days we spent we had power failure safety switch triggered once or twice a day the most annoying was when you were in the shower complete darkness. No torch in villa till we asked for one. Had constantly people working on the power board they kept saying it was fixed till it went out again. Villa has accommodation for 6 people however there is only 2 sun loungers. We requested additional and was provided with sun mattresses only. But the most disappointing thing is that the photos provided on the website are photos of the largest villa that Tanjung Villa has and the one we stayed in wasn't what was advertised, so don't book Tanjung Villa it's not was the pictures show. However the 5 friends that were traveling together made the trip special.Be aware the manager takes your payment when you arrive and not when you are leaving as arranged. We had cash but he used the credit card provided for the reservation without as knowing. Never saw the manager when we left even though his office was in the garage of the villa. Won't go there again but will return to Bali.

STAY AWAY - worst place everPosted Apr 3, 2014
Where to start? Holes in the ceiling, cockoroach infested showers, stained bed sheets, disgustingly dirty kitchen, air con does NOT work. Bedroom doors don't close properly. Cleaners stole items from us. Could have been a nice place if they were honest people & if the villas were cleaned & maintained properly.
