If you like to be yourself and feel free to run around in the buff within your own adequatley space villa go for it ... Room service available through the day .... i would recommend the floating breakfast..... only issues 1got bitten eveyday and saw the biggest spider wobdering around the room.

The worst hotel stay of my life.
Woke up to a rat running across the bed, turned the lights on and found another in the room. Was sent to another room that when I turned the lights on had ants and roaches everywhere, then was sent to ANOTHER room that had an active termite nest in the wooden part of the bed, had roaches everywhere, toilet leaking feces, and this is SUPPOSED TO BE A 5-STAR HOTEL! They charge $250 dollars, which is a small fortune in Rupiah. The manager is NEVER there and staff told me this. I was promised a refund, but Expedia has not returned my calls or followed up. Keep in mind the pictures were from the best room they could offer me, the third one. I did not take photos of the first two, which were disgusting as well. Farthest thing from 5 stars I have ever seen, and I have slept in motel 6's and many hostels.

Dirty and outdated. We left after first night. Pool was so dirty even after they try to clean it that was impossible to swim in it. Furniture in the room was ruined and dirty as well as sheets and bathroom. It looks to us that we were only guests at the property. Location is far away from everything. I will never recomend stay in these hotel to anyone.

Dreamland with a nightmare!!!!
I always book a hotel on the basis of pay when stay.. and so glad I did. Landed in Bali, just waited 5 minutes for the driver who was so nice, he took me to get a sim card and some supplies. Arrived at the hotel around 930pm.. I requested villa 143 ( from reviews on Trip Advisor) but I dont think I will ever read that again.. Everyone has their own standards and I aint saying mines are up there but lets be honest you get what you pay for.. Room 143.. Right beside the hotel check in area, room size was huge, nice garden and pool and view of the airport ( far away nice to see the planes coming in). * Room was dirty.. spiders webs all over * The pool did not look clean and had floating foam in it * BLOOD on the pool towels * Mosquitos * Room was to big for the aircon unit which was noisy * Overall it was bad!! Changed room that night - ROOM 119 Looked cleaner different layout but huge size, our experience was already ruined. * Room way to big for 1 aircon unit - SWEATING BUCKETS DURING THE NIGHT * Never even touched the pool * CHECKED OUT!! So Lucky enough their card machine was broke and they could not take full payment.. I paid for 1 night airport transfer etc and Moved to KUPU KUPO Hotel in Jimbaran!!

Other than cleanliness of the room, this little oasis is everything we could of asked for for the start of out honeymoon getaway. The private pool is something you'll dream you had everyday haha

I guess the downside of a place full of villas with your own pool is that the hotel always seemed deserted. Although that being said, an employee estimated the resort bring at about 60% capacity, though i would assume thats a generous assumption. Even when we ate breakfast we were the only ones. With villas around us being vacant, room seemed a bit creepy at night, often hearing the cows rustling through rubbish over our back fence. As a young couple, we regretted staying here as we had no interaction with anyone besides staff, so i guess itd be great if you want solitude. Great size villa, nice private pool, nice and friendly staff. Dont get the free shuttle to jimbaran bay restaurant.. We paid 1,500,000rp for a seafood dinner which wasnt as good as our 500,000 dinner from "made bagus cafe" just down the beach.

AMAAAAZING!
I came here for my honeymoon, they were fully prepared after a special request was written on expedia, they really did make us feel special. The staff are very friendly and humble, at all times during the night there would be staff to assist you, wether its re-cleaning the pool or to assist. I would defiantly suggest it to everyone that goes, wether you are old, young, friends, couples and I can defiantly see my self going again.

it was like a dream come true. had a wonderful experience staying at the 1 bedroom villa. worth the money spent. it was my second vacation with my hubby after 30 years of my marriage and would very willingly say, it was a superb experience staying at the Dreamland Villa. thanks to the whole staff and the driver Mr.Dion who really helped us for the sight seeing tour of Bali. in short had a very very nice holiday and a luvly stay at the villa.

Quiet villa next to Karma beach beach in Bali
The villa lacked a few amenities compared to my last visit 3 years ago. The air conditioner never did get fixed during my 5 days so it was difficult to get a good night sleep.

Perfect retreat.
I had a pleasant stay at The Dreamland Villas. Dreamland did not disappoint and it made my second stay there, again a memorable one. The villa is very spacious and well-equipped with all the things you might need for your stay there. If not, the ever-ready and friendly staff are always awaiting your needs and render their assistance in a timely manner. The personality and friendliness of the staff was just so overwhelming. The staff always were so friendly and willing to help out that it was simply just a wonderful overall experience. If all hotels had working staff like this it would make a huge difference. The bathroom was just amazing and the room opened to my own pool and I had a hard time ever wanting to leave my own private Villa! For the price you just can't beat it. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff that bent over backwards to make my stay special. I will always remember you all and I'm sure that I will see you all again shortly.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. However, the condition of the hotel is really bad for a 5 star resort. The aircon is leaking water, all toilet lightings are not working for the first night. The cleaniness of the room also not up to standard, dust are everywhere.

We were there for 5 nights. Although it was a comfortable stay, some improvements will be good: transportation from villa to lobby: we always had to wait at least 15 minutes before we are picked up. Sometimes, we had to make another reminder call. The walls of the room leaked when it rained. My wife nearly had a slip when she woke up from bed and stepped on the puddle of water. Some kind of cover (drapes or blinds) should be provided at the bathroom/toilet/jacuzzi area. The room service menu had the menu missing except for the full dinner menu which meant that we could not order room service late at night when we arrived. Chairs or deck chairs should be provided at the villa pool. In room toiletries should be replenished everyday including toilet rolls. Overall, staff were very courteous and helpful.

Nice hotel for specially newly weds.
Really nice and comfy hotel for newly wed couple. Can't ask for more for the money paid. Aussie hotels are no near of comparison compare to this luxury villa. Nice staff. restaurant can be better for vegetarian but manager made us special menu for us special care as well.

I went here for vacation. The neighborhood anf the outside of the hotel was not that great and was worried at first. However the inside of the hotel and the rooms were very nice. Really clean and great. Most importantly the hotel staff were the nicest people I have ever met and they were really caring and helpful

Stayed at a 3 bedroom villa for family vacation. Rooms at villa were huge and spacious. Hotel Staff were pleasant and greetings abound with each staff we encountered. Very happy with service. It conpensates for the slightly run down conditions of rooms and outlook of villa. Pool attached to villa was as advertised , so quited pleased with that . Location abit far from kuta ( 35 mins). Did not have chance to go hotel beach though. Think villa is appropriate for honeymoon couples as family visited 2 bedroom villa and said it was beautiful and since location is not near any amenities, it is great for couple who just want to stay in the villa away from hustle n bustle of city life .

Perfect for romantic stay!
Great 1 bedroom pool villa, 100% privacy and quiet, wonderful sunset view (ask for villa #143), spacious and very comfortable, and we loved the jaccuzi bathtub (a must to start your stay totally relaxed!). Amazing smiling staff from reception to drivers, free shuttle to Dreamland beach and its turquoise waters, 20 min drive to Bingin and Impossible surf spots. Only the food (breakfast and in-room) was disappointing, we far more enjoyed Dreamland beach Nasi Goreng and Satays (and much cheaper). But overall a great experience and a place we recommend for honeymooners and couples who want to grant themselves some special time - like we did :-)

The villas are excellent, private, comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. All of the hotel staff are extremely friendly and obliging and do all they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Restaurant service and menu is also very good although the bar service is quite slow even when the hotel is not busy. Room service was also very good. A really lovely hotel run by the kindest people you could wish to meet.

if you're after a retreat away from most tourist and just to unwind. this is it! a great villa hotel with private pool. free shuttle to most local needed spots, kuta, nusa dua and dreamland beach (security gated off) so an isolated beach with protection ;-)

Looked lovely, but amenties really let it down. Its seven years old and a bit worn and needs attention. The breakfast was awful and choice just not there. Staff were very helpful and attentive, and certainly could not fault this. The Villa was large and spacious and the pool was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and managed to have a honeymoon suite. The owners need to upgrade this hotel.

I can not rate this hotel high enough, breathtaking experience. Your own private pool, fantastic buffet breakfast and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. The Location was the only set back costing approx nine - twelve US dollars to get in and out.

Wake Me Up From The Dream...
My stay at the Dreamland Luxury Villa & Spa was very brief because I was meeting my travel party at another location the following day. Overall, I think the people of Bali are very friendly & willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable so in that regard I found the service to be exceptional & on par with other places I've stayed in the area. The size of your private villa is impressive & the cathedral ceilings really add to the spaciousness. The room was clean & well maintained for sure. It's in a decent location close to food, excursions, & shopping. The grounds of the hotel aren't the prettiest asthetically. My backyard was expansive & really enjoyed swimming in my own plunge pool & relaxing in my own private cabana... The issues I had with the hotel were that the breakfast buffet spread wasn't that diversified & the didn't taste all that good. Not all the light switches in my room were working so I had to sleep with some lights left on. The biggest thing with hotel was that the driver they sent me to pick me up from the airport lost one of my pieces of luggage which carried all of my pants-shorts so I had to go the entire trip without them. While getting in the van, he requested that I give him my big suitcase & garment bag & then he never put the garment bag in my van so who knows where it ended up but the clothes weren't available to me. I would be very cautious when dealing with any of the staff there. They were kind enough the day after to help me located my bag, but if the driver was more cognizant then it could have all been avoided...
