Quiet hotel relaxing atmosphere.Posted Oct 1, 2015
This was our 10th visit to the Laguna resort. We have noticed the standards have dropped during our most recent visit. Beautiful poolside surrounding but unfortunately the rooms are dated and in desperate need of renovation. Check in staff not helpful and waste your time by trying to up-sell to a better room on arrival. Room not cleaned till late afternoon. Disappointing to see a once great hotel slip in standards.

A slice of paradise.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: My favourite part of the hotel is the grounds, pools. and amazing buffet breakfast.
Location: It's a short walk to Bali Collection which has great shops and restaurants so the location is perfect.
The hotel resort is amazing, this is the second time I have been there and it didn't disappoint. The staff are so friendly, the food is amazing and the view and ambience is breathtaking. The staff can't do enough to help you. The pools are always clean and there is no shortage of places to lie in the sun or shade. We went to 'chill out' and came back feeling very relaxed. It's a short walk to Bali Collection which has great shops and restaurants so the location is perfect.

Not special for honeymooners.Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Beautiful pools and own beach. Was really idylic. Very quiet and staff friendly. Room was wonderful and spacious. Lovely balcony.
Cons: Staff knowledge of own clinic charges and what activities/shops available around the hotel. Who else would know if they don't??
Location: There IS some surfing at a nearby place - found on last day after being told there was nothing around. Highly frustrating.
As we were on honeymoon and it;s a 5* I did expect a more from this hotel : 1) We didn't get anything extra - not even a celebratory glass of bubbly! This was a tad disappointing. However, my main issue was 2) I developed a whole body rash flare up 2 days in and was told they had an on site clinic where the Dr fee was 100,000 rupiah (around £4-5) plus any medicines fees. I agreed to go so i could get some antihistamines. The Dr said I was okay and prescribed antihistamines but then handed me a bill of 900,000 rupiah - 500,000 for her fee and 400,000 for the tablets. When I told her that wasn't what was quoted in the hotel she started talking in her language to her assistant then told me I could just pay the 500,000. She said I should take the tablets for 3 days but after I left realised she had only given me enough for 2 days! 3) We forgot to pack sunscreen so asked where could get some from the Bali Collection about a 5 min walk away - the staff at reception and in the shop said no. They then told us the nearest pharmacy was about a 15min walk away so we went there - in the blistering midday heat. Later we went to the Bali Collection for early dinner and not only found a pharmacy, but it sold the same sunscreen for a lot less! There were other little things like the above that really did make this a 5* experience in my opinion - the lack of knowledge of what's available around the hotel from all staff was really frustrating.

Laguna Nusa Dua BaliPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Beautiful grounds surrounded by lovely swimming pools and 2 min to the beach
Cons: Tea/Coffee making facilities would have been appreciated in our room instead of having to wait 15 min first thing in the morning .
Location: Quite relaxing location, swimming, windsurfing paragliding
Relaxing, having direct pool access was just brilliant
