A little rough around the edges, but affordable!

The pool villa is an affordable way to have a private pool when you are only spending a few days in Bali. I was in transit, only had two nights, and also wanted to go shopping. So it was nice to not spend a lot on a villa when I only got to spend a few hours there, and to still have a private pool after a long day of shopping!
It's only about a $6-$7 cab ride to Kuta, and $3-$4 into Legian/ Seminyak, so the location is kind of nice, if you don't mind taking a cab.
The staff were super friendly and really helpful, even allowing us a late check out as it was low season. There was some confusion about payment though, as they didn't understand that I had prepaid with hotels.com
Physically, the hotel needs a little touch up here and there, and a ceiling fan, or even a standing or wall mounted fan in the living area would improve the quality of the space... the room has AC, but during the day the outside area is hot.
I think more could be done with the breakfast. The fruit plate and fresh watermelon juice was great, but the eggs and toast were not so good. Most guests won't mind paying a bit more to have fresh bread and less oily eggs.
While this review might not sound hugely positive, the overall stay was good (and as I said in the title 'affordable') and I would stay there again. However, if I were staying longer, I would buy my own food for breakfast and would ask that they sort out the internet (which was not working in the room).
