Rambler’s Retreat is a delightful, detached property which enjoys a unique location nestled amongst the rolling Leitrim countryside, just four miles from Manorhamilton, near Sligo, and can sleep four people. This all ground floor cottage has two double bedrooms, a shower room, a kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with an open fire and a sofa bed and a second sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a front patio garden with furniture. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire and multi-fuel stove. Electric oven with gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Free-to-air channels, DVD, selection of books and games. Town: The town of Manorhamilton lies in the north of County Leitrim, in the centre of the North Leitrim Glens, a region which is renowned for its hill walking. There is a wide choice of pubs and eateries in the town, and the area as a whole is known for its strong love of live Irish music, with many such performances taking place throughout the year. Manorhamilton Castle, now a ruin, has been transformed into an interesting visitor attraction, while other fascinating places to visit include the Leitrim Sculpture Centre and the Famine Graveyard. Visit Glencar Waterfall or take a scenic drive round the Erne Waterway.
