The location is 15 minutes to Mullingar - but when you're in Multy, why go anywhere else!? And do yourself a favor - eat every meal possible at the restaurant --- the food and service are top notch! I cannot wait to stay with the Weirs again."

"Barley Harbour Lodge "Trout" was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, and it was very peaceful and quiet. Eva was a thoughful host and gave us a half dozen fresh eggs from her chickens. I enjoyed sitting outside with my morning coffee (on the days it didn't rain) and listening to the birds, and the cows made fun neighbors. It is also a good base for exploring the area, as it is centrally located. There are many fascinating sights nearby, including the mysterious Corlea Bog trackway and Rathcroghan archaeological site. We really enjoyed our week-long stay!"
