Best B&B

Posted Jul 31, 2017 on Hotels
Cilantro House is one of the nicest b&bs that we have stayed in and Olive is one of the finest hosts. She is also an excellent cook and offers the best choices for breakfast that we have experienced - from eggs florentine to full Irish breakfasts. And there is tea in the afternoon with home baked breads and pasteries. She is extremely welcoming and even drove us in and out of town for evenings at the local pubs.

Excellent in every way.

We have been traveling for seven weeks and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, and a gracious hostess. Every detail thought through. Not to mention a beautiful view of the sea from the hill side of the glen. A lovely place.

peace and quiet in Cishendall

My only concern was the room we were in, you could heat the tv playing in thr living room although it was low. Might want to move it away from the bedroom wall. Everything else was top notch.

Comfortable B&B, wonderful hosts

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: The welcome and the customer service were outstanding. The room was clean as a pin and every detail considered.
Cons: The sliding door on our wardrobe wasn't running when we arrived but this was quickly attended to so really not an issue.
Location: The Antrim Coastline is a joy to behold and there are lots of tourist opportunities along the coastal route. Definitely do the rope bridge.
We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and it was just lovely. The room was smallish but it was the last one available and we were grateful to get it. Spotlessly clean and with a large, well appointed bathroom. We had everything we could possibly need including free wifi. Breakfast was excellent each day and Olive and James were absolutely delightful even getting us a table at a restaurant when we had failed! Fantastic service - we would return.

Fantastic place to stay.

Pros: Very comfortable accommodation and an excellent breakfast. Everything really!
Cons: Nothing?
Location: Located just outside Cushendall which is an excellent location for visiting the Antrim and Causeway coasts.
Probably the best b&b we have ever stayed at. Olive and James were perfect hosts. We had a very comfortable 4 nights in their beautiful home. Olive provided us with a wonderful home cooked breakfast each morning. The home made bread was very good and the scones were out of this world. We really did not need to eat at lunchtime. Each day arriving back after our day out Olive made us a pot of tea with home baked cakes. Absolutely delicious. The accommodation was superb, everything we needed was provided. Excellent free wi-fi. Olive and James were very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Very highly recommended
