Great place to stay while in Baltimore. We had a concert across the street. So convenient and reasonably priced!

Great hotel, late checkout. Only a few glitches. Free breakfast was offered, but only till 10. Our room was on the 8th floor, above entrance to hotel, so it was loud.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at our hotel. We are happy you liked our property along with our convenient location. The sounds of the street sometimes filter into the rooms on the lower level, so we apologize for the inconvenience this caused to you. Just So-So

Posted Jan 28, 2016
My mother recently had surgery at Johns Hopkins so I chose this hotel for my two night stay in Baltimore. The staff was the best part of the whole experience. They were friendly. Everything else was very mediocre for the price. The room looked nothing like the picture, except for the bathroom. There was no wifi, the shower head was broken, and the television set up was very basic. Also they told me that they had happy hour every weeknight from 4-7 pm at the bar downstairs. I go down and find that the bar is actually closed...it's 5:30pm on a tuesday. No sign, nothing. Just closed. Now as far as real life problems go, these are very minor. But I expect much more for a hotel priced at over $100 a night in a city that only locals feel safe in. Overall I give this hotel 2 stars out of 5.

Pros: The staff. They were great- professional, happy, and courteous.
Cons: The decor in the hallways and rooms.
Location: In the heart of city- resaturants, sports complexes, aquarium
Beautiful foyer, Check in easy- and very professional. Once we got to floor- could tell hotel has "tired and aged feel". Bathrooms are small- but mildly updated and very clean. Remaining room had stained carpets, drapes hanging wrong, furniture scratched. However- beds very comfortable. And they allowed our little dog for a fee of $50..00. They also had serious conditions I had to sign for-

Highly misrepresented in pictures

Posted Dec 17, 2015
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: Great location, with a lot of other hotels...
Stayed here for two nights while interviewing at a nearby hospital. Upon arrival, I had to carry baggage and suits to room on trolley by myself. Was starving, meanwhile no food service in hotel. Walls were paper thin and neighbors decided to make loud and aggressive love all night... my head was bouncing off the wall. After calling the front desk, they were no help. I was told there was nobody working to help me switch rooms, so I had to carry my own bags on the trolley down to the lobby to get a new room key, then carry everything back up to my new room. I mind you, this is at 1230AM the night before a very important interview. When I walked down to the lobby there was 3 able bodied young men staffed by the hotel standing around joking with the front desk girl; any of which could've helped with my situation. After this I was switched to a room with a smaller bed on a lower floor. I will strongly discourage other medical students/doctors to stay away from this hospital while in the area. I highly doubt local competitors have such poor service. Thanks for causing me to be mentally and physically exhausted on one of the most important days of my life.

bad sleeping on bad beds

Posted Dec 15, 2015
The beds were bad and we needed to change rooms because of that fact. We changed twice and the original rooms were very very small. The hotel staff were accommodating and very pleasant. Breakfast is not a hot breakfast but doable with bagels, waffles, cereal and yogurt and juices. I would say it's a 3.3 just because.

Solid hotel

Posted Dec 4, 2015
Pros: Price, location.
Cons: The lobby area feels dead.
Location: I only went to the convention center. However I had to walk back to the hotel late at night and it didn't feel particularly safe.
I stayed at the Baltimore Harbor Hotel because I was in town for a convention. The very first thing I encountered at the hotel was that their powered revolving door wasn't working. I walked in, nothing happened, and I had to push pretty hard to get through. Later I discovered a regular door next to it that everyone was using instead. The hotel had an air of being empty, there was no energy or activity in the lobby. The front desk lady was excellent, friendly, efficient, got me into a room despite the fact that I was there early in the morning. The room itself was fine, nicely appointed, nice clean big bed, clean bathroom, etc. However it was quite small and slightly difficult to get around in for that reason. This didn't matter at all to me, I was just there to sleep in the evenings and I'm only one person. The bathroom was clean and nice but small and not a lot of counter space for travel bag, etc. My wife wouldn't have been able to operate in that bathroom. For a couple the room in general would be a bit too tight. The room did have a window that opened, which was a nice change of pace, especially since there was a noticeable smell of cleanser/smoke, not pleasant but not too bad. The free internet was nice, but before you could use it you were required to fill out their survey. Asking my overall view of the hotel after I've been there less than 30 minutes is silly. The breakfast is free and nicely done. Overall a good experience, I would stay here again.

Just gross

Posted Nov 27, 2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: The rooms need to me remodeled and updated. Try aiming for "fresh"...
Location: Inner Harbor
The rooms were just gross, the carpets were stained and wrinkled as if they had been flooded, the bathrooms looked dirty and the wall paper looked old/stale. The lobby may have a slight floral scent but my room reeked of marijuana. I asked for an upgrade but none were available, even though the hotel was at minimum occupancy.
