I was put in a room that was in a building separate from the main hotel. There was no ice machine available to those in the secondary building. A trip to the main hotel for ice is required. This may sound trivial but I overheard at the front desk that there was an ice machine on all three floors of the main hotel. The was none for the second building. The supplied included breakfast was good.

Good Afternoon Art, Thank you for taking the time to complete a survey on Expedia, your feedback is important to us, and appreciate your feedback. The room you were assigned to was the room Expedia reserved for you, I apologize if this was not to your satisfaction, if there was rooms available we would have been more than happy to offer you an upgraded room at a small fee if we would have known. Mr. Art I do hope you will give us another chance and stay with us again. At Your Service, Debra Winkowski General Manager

Laurel Stay

Posted May 16, 2017
Pros: Location to DC and Baltimore
Cons: There were no shears on the windows. We either had to keep the curtains completely closed or open.
Location: Plenty of places to eat. Close to Baltimore and DC.
Our stay was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. A good value for the price.

Great Employees, Breakfast & Room Only Okay

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: The king sized beds were great. The customer service. Clean.
Cons: The sprinkler system noise. The breakfast. The decor. The price.
We really enjoyed the employee at the front desk and she took care of any problems we had quickly. We were very thankful for her and she made our stay much more enjoyable. However, the first room they put us in probably should not be rented out because it is next to the water sprinkler system which kicks on and off all night and makes a loud sound. Light sleepers beware! We eventually had to call and have them move us to another room, which they did promptly, so they do have great customer service. The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean and decent, but I personally believe a bit overpriced for what you're getting. The breakfast wasn't the best.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for completing a survey and giving us your feedback on your stay, we appreciate all comments and concerns and very proud of my staff that took care of you to make sure you were comfortable. I apologize, on our dry air system in the next room, it is very unpredictable when this system will go off, but we are looking at other options to fix this. We do look forward to serving you again. Old, stale, minimal

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: The breakfast offerings were decent: yogurt, cereal, eggs, link sausage, fresh fruit.
Cons: New mattress, get rid of the smell
Location: Close to Fort Meade
The room was bare bones - one queen bed, no frig, no microwave - when we checked in, they offered to "upgrade" us -for an extra charge, of course. The room was badly in need of updating. The mattress was old and worn out, and everything smelled of cigarette smoke, which I cannot stand. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for the time you took to write this review, we appreciate all feedback on your stay with us. We are in the middle of upgrading our rooms, in fact we just replaced all carpeting in all of the exterior rooms that you had stayed in, the new carpet is what you were smelling, I'm sorry for that inconvenience. Our mattresses are actually only a few years old, but we will look at the room you stayed in and have that one inspected. Thank you again, and we look forward to serving you again. Nice hotel, good price.

Posted Apr 18, 2017
For the most part we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. I had read some reviews about the staff being unfriendly, but that could not have been further from the truth. Everyone we dealt with was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the pull out sofa. It was very uncomfortable - you could feel every spring. My kids ended up putting the sofa cushions on the floor and sleeping on them. Also, the sheet and blanket that went with the sofa bed were in pretty rough shape. The sheet was thread bare and the blanket had small holes in it. They weren't unusable, but I was disappointed with how ratty they were.

Convenient location for me

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Strong paint oders due to ongoing refurbishing. The toilet supply line leaked continuously and even though I reported it to the office , it was never repaired during my four day stay. If you only need a bed for a short stay you might risk it.

Staff need training in customer service

Posted Apr 13, 2017
The hotel was good , but the staff when I say staff I mean the front desk so call managers. They Need help in their customer service . I called 2 hours prior to check in and told them I was going to be 45 min late to check in . They said no problem , but 5 minutes before the check in they called me and said I needed and demanded I pay over the phone other wise they will cancel the reservation . Debra was very rood and very unpleasant to talk to. I paid because I had no other options. When I arrived it looks like she was very angry and not wanting to be their. So I did not like her attitude and it made me feel not welcome. The room was clean and I felt comfortable at the room. At check out the guy was not at the front desk and had to wait 10 min. I don't know where he was. So I am very disappointed at the staff not at the hotel .

A Standout

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Cons: Lemon Water, Staff
A standout amongst the miles of hotels clustered around Elkridge/Savage along US1 just south of the Balt BW. Very near the airport. Worth looking for. There's dozens of other hotels nearby.

Midway between Baltimore and DC.

Posted Apr 1, 2017
Cons: The check-in and out process.
We picked this hotel for its location, midway between Baltimore and DC. Overall, a nice place to stay for one night. However, their check-in/out process needs improvement. After staying the night, they could not find our reservation at check-out. I have never had this happen before, and can only assume the check-in clerk messed something up. Anyway, the "temporary" charge to my credit card ($50 for a $68 room!) is still outstanding on my account. I may have to get this rescinded through my bank.
