Stay was good. Rooms does not have much sound proofing. You can hear the noise from room next to you. Overall not bad

Close to Inner Harbor.

Posted Jan 10, 2017
Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness and they are trying to be good to the environment.
Cons: Valet parking is too expensive.
Great place. Convenient to Inner Harbor and Route 83. Staff was so nice.

Great hotel in walking distance of the harbor

Posted Dec 31, 2016
We, 3 friends and I had a great experience here. The staff was great from several valet drivers to the lobby staff and the breakfast staff. Everyone was nice and professional. Great price for our room and with breakfast included . That was really great . And also hot tea or coffee in the lobby . The hotel was nice with the history on the walls and very warm. Nice to come into after a cold walk to the harbor. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely go back. And the valet parking was worth the extra price because you have to pay for any parking in baltimore. The room was a nice for all of us and the bathroom was pretty good. My boyfriend is 6ft 5 and often has trouble with small bathrooms or showers, no problems here.

Great Hotel for a Great Price

Posted Dec 30, 2016
Quaint hotel with an easy walking distance (less than two blocks) to the Inner Harbor. The building has an older feel, but has been totally updated and is very comfortable and clean, with a great staff (very professional and friendly) and nice little perks (fresh fruit and cookies with a coffee/tea bar). The only negative part of our stay was that the pull-out couch was unbelievably uncomfortable & made for a terrible sleep.

Not a $356 Hotel per Day

Posted Dec 12, 2016
Cons: Price / benefit relationship
This was an emergency booking the day prior to the Army / Navy football game at sold out M&T Bank Stadium and with the PEOTUS and MD Govenour in attendance, i.e a general shortage and marked up rooms was to be expected. But even so: Baltimore is not NYC nor Downtown DC and hence while the place was "Okay", the charged rate leaves a bitter taste. With the normal availability of other places closer to and or around the Inner Harbor (with easier walking distance to restaurants and shopping) I have a hard time to imagine to stay here again.

Nice hotel - expensive PARKING xtra

Posted Nov 26, 2016 on Hotels
Very happy with bed, large shower head, marble walls. PARKING ... I've never stayed in a hotel that did not provide parking so did not know to review when reserving. There was a $20 parking fee!! That is less than the $35 valet parking available but unexpected. Increased the overall cost of the room. Breakfast was good.

Thank you for the feedback of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor. We’re happy that you liked our breakfast offerings and your comfortable room. However, we’re sorry you were disappointed with the lack of free parking at our hotel. As we’re located in the downtown area, parking is extremely limited. Our guests appreciate the "in and out" parking for a flat daily fee with the on-site valet service, and many choose to leave their cars in the garage and walk to the attractions nearby. We hope this did not deter your otherwise positive stay and look forward to seeing you again. Sincerely, General Manager
