In your survey you mentioned the hotel being aged/unclean and the possibility of bed bug bites. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your family during your stay. Our hotel will be renovated in the next year or two, so we do realize that our furnishing may come off as being dated, but we do pride ourselves in keeping our property clean. We do apologize that you experienced bites during your stay. As the weather is getting warmer, there may be other insects besides bedbugs, but we would like to investigate to make sure that this is not the case. We know that it can be irritating to have been bitten and we want to make sure that no one else experiences this, whether it is bed bugs or a spider. We are pleased to hear that in general your stay was enjoyable, but in your survey you mentioned the hotel being dated and the mattresses being hard. We know that having a comfortable mattress is one of the most important things in a stay because you need it to be relaxed and to have a good sleep. We will be replacing our mattresses soon, but unfortunately, we know that this does not change the fact that you did not have a restful sleep. We are sorry that you caught COVID but unfortunately no one can stay free at the hotel. It is a for profit business. We do empathize with your situation, but even those who have to quarantine, have to pay for their stay (especially considering the fact that they are putting our staff and other guests at risk).
