Clean, staff was nice. Good location if you want to go to the inner harbor or Orioles game. Hotel had an older feel to it.

Nice Historic Hotel Close to Everything!

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: LB Club lounge, free food for breakfast and early evenings. Close to Inner Harbor, LB Bakery had delicious pastries, macaroons etc., friendly staff
Cons: Parking is about 3-4 blocks away from hotel for $15.00 a day. No Pool but you get a view of the one next door.
Location: Smack in the middle of downtown, close to inner harbor and shops, close to plenty of restaurants, 3 blocks away from Nando's Peri-Peri
Very nice historic hotel, close to everything. being an expedia VIP member has its perks. I was upgraded by DERRICK, to the club level with complimentary breakfast and wine in the evenings. At first, receptionist that looked like Mr. Monopoly made it look like he gave me an upgrade from the room I booked when in fact he just gave me a room with a view. Derrick, the very amazing and friendly VIP support person who deals with expedia VIP members and other VIP guests from other sites made sure I was really upgraded to the level just right below the penthouses. Exclusive access to LB Club lounge that serves nice fresh bagels and delicious coffee, fruits, juices in the mornings and cheese, bread, beverages including free wine and beer in the early evenings. Thank You Derrick!

beautiful atmosphere, great location

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: décor and staff
Cons: no vending machines
Location: great location.....museum, sports, Inner Harbor, Horseshoe Casino
valet staff were very polite and accommodating with all concerns, hotel was very classy and charming. the only issue I was not prepared for was the separate cost for parking but that is a city issue.

1 night there. Great location if going to the Inner Harbor, an orioles games, ravens game, fells point. Friendly staff, very comfortable beds. Only wish they offered a free breakfast for the price.

Pros: Location, room size, room comfort, room cleanliness, lobby bakery/deli, 5 working elevators
Cons: weekend visitors allowed children to run around the hallways--
Location: see above
We stayed 5 days in August. Easy to get to from the Light Rain at the airport--NO need for a car my entire vacation. Light rail stop is about a 3-5 minute walk from hotel lobby. Historic Lord Baltimore was fantastic. Largest room I've been in the city--including NYC, Washington DC, Philly, Chicago and others. I was very pleased. Super clean and comfortable. Fridge provided. Easy 10 minute walk to the Inner Harbor area and the Purple/Orange/Green FREE bus lines are also less than a 5 minute walk.

Newly renovated, oldest hotel in Baltimore

Posted Aug 8, 2015
We enjoyed our stay at the Lord Baltimore Hotel. It was newly renovated and the staff was wonderful. Clean rooms- would definitely stay there again. Also learned it was the oldest hotel in Baltimore.

Nice hotel in less than desirable location

Posted Aug 8, 2015
Location: The hotel is a close walk to the harbor. . . but dont get caught out at night.
The hotel is older and has been polished up a few times in its history. The current renovations are nice and reflect modern sensibilities. However, being an older hotel means that the rooms are on the smaller size. The 'Grand' king bed room that I had was the same size as an average standard room. There was nothing special about the room decor or amenities. Also, the restaurants on-site at the hotel have limited hours and there is no room service available. Overall, the hotel is a decent place to stay once you are inside. The negative is definitely the location. Downtown Baltimore is a terrible place to stay if walking around is something you desire to do on your trip. The areas surrounding the hotel are not anywhere I would recommend exploring after nightfall. Leaving the hotel for a short period to find a convenience store nearly resulted in mugging and I will never again be staying in this area.
