Phenomenal service and efficient housing. What more can I say except, pass the Red Roof Inn and stay at Quality Inn which is worth every dime.

Terrible location and terribly confusing

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: The room was a decent size, average for a hotel, and clean.
Cons: Soundproofing the walls so patrons can't hear the extremely loud music from the events that take place across the street apparently all the time
Location: It's close to the Cylburn Arboretum
The worst part about this hotel is the location. It's 2 am in the morning, and the music from an event across the street is pounding through the walls of my hotel. The music didn't stop until past 4 am in the morning. I couldn't sleep. It was awful. I left a comment about it on the email Expedia sent me, and the staff confronted me about it in the morning, said I should have talked to them about it, but they can't fix the crappy location. I give them props for trying, but then staff said events like that take place across the street ALL the time! Makes me never want to go back, NEVER. Plus, I got back to my hotel room around 2 am, exhausted after driving 8 hours and then attending a wedding. I go to enter the front door, and it's locked. No surprise, but there's nowhere to swipe my hotel key to get in and no staff at the front door. The staff is taking care of an issue elsewhere according to another person waiting at the door. The staff finally gets back and tells me I can't go in the front door. Apparently even though the staff member is standing right there, he can't let me in. I have to walk outside in the dark to a sketchy side door that is both unmanned and literally ANYBODY could follow me in and nobody would know. Because somehow that makes more sense than going in the front door. I don't know who thought of that, but it wasn't a very smart decision and NO ONE told me about it. It would have been nice to know before I waited at the front door forever.

our stay here was surprisingly good, the location was close to everything an the room was really nice. However the name of the hotel was not Econologe but Quality Inn we drove around for an hour trying to figure this out. We were told this was a recent change.
