Premium money, non premium experience

Posted Sep 25, 2016
We payed premium price for hotel in walking distance to convention center. Room was very small and with a lousy view. A/c barely worked which made the small room very stuffy. Besides not leaving us enough towels the next day everything else was satisfactory. Valet was efficient and courteous as was the rest of staff. Would stay here again but request larger room with a view.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you were pleased with our convenient location and friendly staff, but we are sorry your room did not meet all your expectations. Our front desk staff tries to place guests in larger rooms when available, and I apologize that you were not given a bigger room. We appreciate your understanding and are happy that you plan to return. We look forward to serving you again. Juan Webster General Manager

Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: Carpet and mattresses
Location: Location was downtown close to the inner harbor. I was only there to be close to the site of where I was taking a state exam the next day.
I was a little disappointed with the condition of the room, specially in light of the cost and location. While the bathroom and bed linen appeared clean, the carpet is very stained and very much in need of replacement. I asked to be relocated from one room because dark stains and a smell was very evident all over the carpet. The one I was moved to still had a large number of stain spots. I was told that the facility would soon replace all of the rooms with carpet. I am not sure if that only to appease me or if this was indeed in the plans. The bed was too soft, However the bathroom was very clean.

Baltimore

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: Breakfast, room size.
Cons: Bathroom size, check in/out process
Location: Location close to Inner Harbor and Camden Yards but as above, would not want to walk around at night.
Within walking distance of Inner Harbor, Camden Yards. However, a little bit of a shady area to walk through to get to both. Would not want to walk at night. I am from a big city myself. Check-in/out process a little slow. Looked like there was not enough help at front desk. Breakfast and staff there were great.

So-so hotel

Check in and check out was a piece of cake. The hotel is not very family friendly. Its quiet and if you need a clean room there okay. The deposit for inccidentals if you use the bar etc is bad but if you dont use it you will get it back. Recommended with reservation

Below average hotel for a Radisson.

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: The rates
Cons: The staff
Location: Close to convention center
Staff especially the front office lacked courtesy. Requested shaving cream and it took 2 hours to get. The rooms were in despair. Overall felt like days inn.

Poorly Located and things didn't work well

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Breakfast. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Rooms need light. Don't be so cheap on the light bulbs. Fix the heat/AC unit. Replace the carpet.
Location: 4 blocks from Innerharbor, but it was like another world. No restaurants nearby and lots of homeless. Close to Royal Farms Arena.
The biggest problem with this hotel is that it is 4 blocks in the wrong direction away from the inner harbor and the convention center. I am a large male and normally not that concerned about being in the city, but there are a lot of homeless and vagrants between the hotel and the inner harbor. It was uncomfortable to make that walk after dark. And there is not much else going on in the streets nearby, no restaurants or stores so there were no regular people on the streets. Just the vagrants. I know its not their fault and they are needy and homeless, but its still uncomfortable. I was in Baltimore for 3 days and did not see a police officer anywhere. They gave me a room behind the elevators and it was on the small side for a modern hotel room. Also, very little light in the room with poor low-wattage bulbs and no central light. AC/Heat only blew cold air no matter how high I turned the temp. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but carpet was threadbare and lumpy. Definitely seemed like a tired room. Breakfast was nice with good fresh fruit (always a big plus for a free breakfast). Staff was friendly. All together, I can't recommend although I usually like Radisson Hotels

Disappointing

Posted Sep 14, 2016
Pros: This hotel had 1 single plus side, the location.
Cons: This hotel needs a deep cleaning.
This hotel had 1 single plus side, the location. It is walk-able to the ballpark and inner harbor. However this is NOT a 3 start hotel. The carpets are gross to say the least, there were big obvious stains in the carpeting. The wifi did not work during our stay. The toilet overflowed twice during our stay, I had to ask repeatedly for it to get fixed. I would not recommend this room, keep looking!
