Poorly Located and things didn't work well

The biggest problem with this hotel is that it is 4 blocks in the wrong direction away from the inner harbor and the convention center. I am a large male and normally not that concerned about being in the city, but there are a lot of homeless and vagrants between the hotel and the inner harbor. It was uncomfortable to make that walk after dark. And there is not much else going on in the streets nearby, no restaurants or stores so there were no regular people on the streets. Just the vagrants. I know its not their fault and they are needy and homeless, but its still uncomfortable. I was in Baltimore for 3 days and did not see a police officer anywhere.
They gave me a room behind the elevators and it was on the small side for a modern hotel room. Also, very little light in the room with poor low-wattage bulbs and no central light. AC/Heat only blew cold air no matter how high I turned the temp. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but carpet was threadbare and lumpy. Definitely seemed like a tired room. Breakfast was nice with good fresh fruit (always a big plus for a free breakfast). Staff was friendly.
All together, I can't recommend although I usually like Radisson Hotels
