No AC Left Early

Posted Apr 12, 2017
The hotel desk staff were not friendly or accommodating. The Valet staff were very helpful & nice! The AC n our room never worked & we when we told them, the front desk offered 2 move us 2 a different room. We checked it out and no AC n there either. Then the staff offered us a fan. The fan was a 4 by 4, never seen a fan so small. Might work if we were surfs. It was a joke. We stayed the 2nd night simply because we had already purchased tickets for several attractions. The fitness center had 5 treadmills, 2 worked 3 bikes, 1 worked. No parking on the premises, $38 a day for Valet. We loved Baltimore, no thanks to the Radisson Inner Harbour.

Light came in through the door frame. Housekeeping gathered and hung out talking outside my room.

Great stay. Air conditioning was in the process of changing from winter to summer, no big deal they provided us with a fan that resolved the problem.

Nice hotel, great staff and good food at the Balto Tavern and Tap (within the hotel) but also walking distance to lots of other restaurants. Decent price for overnight parking.

It was warmer outside than in our room

Posted Mar 15, 2017
Cons: install new windows and install functioning heating units
The windows are mere dressing, the wind passes right through, we had an upgraded room and we still froze our butts off; the room heater did not function

A bad hotel!!!

Posted Mar 5, 2017
There's a lot of things that's should be addressed with this hotel: 1. Their Public Announcement system (PA). On the day I was staying at the hotel, the PA came on for a good 15 minutes announcing that there was a fire in the building. This was at 4:30 AM. Once we got into the lobby just to be told it was a false alarm. There's was no follow up PA announcement to tell the guests that it was a false alarm or at least sent their staff to each floor of the hotel to inform the guests. The unknowingly guests (old people, women with babies, small kids) in their sleepwear continue to hurriedly go down the stairs. This is a 18 floor hotel (more or less). 2. Light switch - Where can you find a hotel room who does not have a light switch by the door as you enter the room. You'll literally have to walk across the room by the bed side to turn on the lampshade to have lights in the room or go to the bathroom. You're literally walking in the dark inside a room trying to find a light switch. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels both in the US and overseas but this is the first time I've been to a hotel room without a light switch by the door. 3. The hotel needs renovation big time. The carpet in our room is such in bad shape. It's no longer laid flat on the floor you'll have to be careful when walking or you'll end up tripping. The side table wobble because it's not a real side table it's one of those 3 legged pressed board table with a glass top. That was not well assembled.

Thank you for being our guest and for your feedback. I am sorry your sleep was disturbed by the fire alarm. Out of an abundance of caution we feel it is absolutely necessary to evacuate the hotel until we can thoroughly check all areas to ensure there is no fire and it is safe for everyone to return to their rooms. I am thankful the alarm during your visit was a false alarm, and I offer my sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused you. We are sorry you were unhappy with the layout of your room, and feedback such as yours helps us when planning future improvements. We hope to have another opportunity to make a better impression.
