Beautiful view room, close to all our interests.

Posted Dec 2, 2016
Pros: View of the Inner Harbor. Close to restaurants and parks, Visionary Museum, Science Museum, historic exhibits.
Cons: It was perfect for us.
Location: Historic exhibits, Aquarium, Science Museum, Visionary Art museum. Beautiful views and walkways and parks. Restaurants within walking distance.
The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant, the views from our room were spectacular. The hotel was walking distance from all the things we were interested in in the Inner Harbor area.

Nice hotel, close to shopping and restaurants

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Overall great trip however, I was quite annoyed with the staff I spoke with after my visit. I noticed an additional $200 charge to my visit. I called to inquire and the guy I spoke too was very rude and said that there were three signs at the front desk explaining the hold. I did not see any signs neither did my boyfriend. And regardless of signs...someone should have explained that. I didn't appreciate being spoken to like I was an idiot.

Roseann, we're glad to hear that you had a great time visiting our Inner Harbor hotel! I apologize that the debit card policy was not explained to you during check-in. While each station at the Front Desk does have a sign informing guests about what happens when presenting a credit card, we have instructed our Front Desk team to verbally discuss this with guests. Please understand that the authorization to cover possible incidental charges is by no means unique to our hotel or the Sonesta brand; for years, travel experts recommend that guests use a credit card during the check-in process, and settle at checkout with a debit card so that the exact amount needed can be authorized. Again, I apologize both for the lack of explanation at check-in, as well as for the way you were spoken to when you called the hotel following your stay. On behalf of the entire team, I certainly hope we have the opportunity to host you again and provide a better experience.

Charles, we appreciate your feedback following your recent stay with us at Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. Glad to hear you enjoyed our large indoor saltwater pool, which offers plenty of room to splash around, along with a dedicated lap lane. Future guests will appreciate your recommendation of the harborview guestrooms, each of which features a floor-to-ceiling bay window that captures panoramic views of the Charm City skyline and of course the breathtaking Inner Harbor. We hope to host you again soon!

Nice hotel close to what used to be a great area

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Very attractive
Cons: Night staff needs to be more attentive to the guests and not so comfortable standing around talking to each other.
Location: Stay away from inner harbor and go to fells point or Harbor East!
I had high hopes for this hotel based on the cost and location. When I arrived late on a Friday night, the parking situation was a joke. Nobody explained what a nightmare it was to find the hotel from the parking garage. The night staff was less than accommodating. I walked over to the inner harbor which was essentially non-existent. There were a few restaurants and I was told not to stray away from the direct route to the hotel. The remote for the TV hardly worked and I was glad to just go to sleep. I hate giving bad reviews but the combination of night staff and inner harbor left a bad taste in my mouth for the visit.

Thank you for letting others know that we have a beautiful, newly renovated property. Bill, I aologize that our evening staff did not make a great image; we are well known for delivering great service, and we certainly let you down. Our guests lvoe the hotel's proimity to the shopping, restaurants, and attractions along the banks of the Inner Harbor, just across the street from the hotel. The Inner Harbor is a family-friendly area, and most places of business are open between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm. The Inner Harbor is certainly not a spot for vibrant nightlife; the bars and pubs of Federal Hill and Fell's Point are quickly reachable via taxi or rideshare. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to host you again during a visit to Charm City.

Very nice! Construction was a little noisy next door but all in all it was acceptable.

We're glad to read that you had a very nice experience staying with us recently! As you've mentioned, there is residential construction taking place adjacent to the hotel, one block to the hotel's north. We are excited that a decades-old surface parking lot is being converted to a high-rise luxury apartment building, complete with ground-floor retail space. However, we do recognize that with this progress comes noise at various times (almost exclusively during normal business hours). Please understand that this is temporary, and the finished product will add more amenities to our Inner Harbr neighborhood. We certainly hope you're planning to stay with us again!

Great view of the harbor.

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: Very nice staff and just a nicely kept establishment.
Location: Close to I-95. Great places to eat in and around the harbor. Here are a few. Phillips Miss Shirley's Abbey Burger Bistro
Close to the harbor. Right across the street. So much to do. The hotel is 5 minutes from I-95 and so easy to get to and from. Parking garage next door. $26.00 per day.( Parking tickets can be validated by numerous venues/attractions. Just need to verify with hotel, who accepts.) We have been to NYC many times and have fallen in love with Baltimore. A different class of people. Very friendly. The inner harbor is so clean. Great Time.
