Perfect proximity to the harbor and great hotel!

Very comfortable

Location: Ideal location by the harbour, lots to do within walking distance, and free transport in the shape of the Charm City Circulator on your doorstep.
Stayed for a week, just after the snow hit. Hotel largely unaffected , happy to say, and very comfortable stay. Room clean and in good condition, and food in Explorers was to a decent standard.

Great place at Inner Harbor

The staff was extremely friendly and capable. The lunch was very good, and the room spacious and well equipped. The Harbor View was well worth the upgrade.

great view, close to everything.

We booked a king size bed with harbor view, celebrating our anniversary. We were very pleased. Great hotel, great staff, very clean and modern looking. The only complaint I would have is the parking garage they provide apart of this hotel. I payed $26 to park and my car was involved in a hit and run and there were no surveillance cameras to provide any proof of who may have been responsible for it. Definitely not the best way to end the weekend but overall we had a great experience and were not disappointed with the hotel itself.

That is certainly no way to end a great stay. On your next visit, please consider valet parking with us--our staff does not use the public garage for valet parking. The harborview guestrooms each feature a floor-to-ceiling bay window with a bench seat offering breathtaking views of the waterfront. Really nice hotel!

Cons: Cost of valet parking!
This hotel is really nice and is located perfectly for a visit to the Inner Harbor. Only complaint is the $47 charge for ONE night for valet parking. That's pretty ridiculous. Otherwise great place with very nice rooms.

We agree that the cost of parking in the city is high, and the 20% tax charged by the City of Baltimore on top of the $39 price certainly doesn't help. That said, just like most hotels in the Inner Harbor, we do not own nor do we manage the parking garage adjacent to our hotel. Parking in any East Coast city is at a premium, thus resulting in high prices. The garage does allow self parking, which costs $15 less per night. With both options, our guests enjoy unlimited in-and-out privileges without any extra costs. We hope that you'll be back soon!

My Stay In Baltimore

The Royal Sonesta in Baltimore was absolutely wonderful, the toilet in my room was broken the hotel gave me an upgrade to my room, complimentary drink tickets. The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was clean I will be staying there my next visit

Comfortable hotel

Pros: Our room was great - quiet and clean.
Cons: Concierge and concierge services.
Location: We had to walk a little ways - it is on the other side of the harbor with less close by.
Very easy and quiet to sleep here. Concierge was not helpful at recommending restaurants in the area, but did get us a reservation after I found a restaurant where we wanted to dine. The second concierge who was on duty the morning we left should be fired and is truly in the wrong job - he was very rude and unhelpful. Room service was excellent and the workout room was fine.

At 420 square feet, we offer the largest 'standard' guestroom accommodations in the Inner Harbor, and in April 2015 we completed a $10 million property renovation, so our guestrooms are all brand-new. We are pleased that you enjoyed your in-room dining experience as well as our well-appointed rooftop Fitness Center as well. We certainly apologize that our Concierge made a less-than-stellar impression. Great service has long been our hallmark, and clearly we fell short of our expectations for service--and yours. Beautiful hotel across from the Inner Harbor

Pros: The room was comfortable, and the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and welcoming; they go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Cons: The downstairs coffee bar could have been nicer, but everything else was exceptional.
Location: Convenient to aquarium, shopping, restaurants
From the moment that we arrived until we left, all of the staff made us feel like old friends coming home for a visit. The rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable. The valet parking was super-convenient; our car was always ready within minutes of our request. For those who work out on the road, the fitness center and pool were spacious and accommodating. Instead of cramming a few cardio machines in a former guest room, the hotel has a clean, heated indoor pool with a lap lane, and the gym area has a full set of circuit machines, in addition to several high-end pieces of cardio equipment, an exercise studio, and a free-weight area.

Our location, of course, is ideal for those coming to visit the Inner Harbor, as the restaurants, shops, and great attractions like the Inner Harbor are just across the street from our front door, all within easy walking distance. And our Fitness Center is simply amazing for a smaller hotel like ours; in addition to the amenities you mentioned, there's also a racquetball court and an outdoor sport court with tennis, volleyball, and basketball! Very Rude Staff

When it was time to check out staff at the front desk was very rude and curt ! I had to ask one simple question and the female working the front desk snapped.
