Cons: the mattress was very uncomfortable.
I liked hotel and would return again, but only if the mattresses are upgraded.

We certainly apologize that you did not find the bedding to be comfortable. The hotel was recently renovated, and the beds, mattresses, and linens are all brand new, and to date the feedback about the bedding has been overwhelming positive. I hope you took a few moments to report your discomfort to a team member, so that we can troubleshoot the issue and determine if a change is warranted for the room you stayed in. I'm glad to see that you otherwise enjoyed your stay, and I hope you are willing to give us another try!

Convenient but poor view

Posted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: The staff is great. The dining area is very nice.
Cons: Free breakfast.
Location: Walk along the harbor and research your restaurants ahead of time
Our room looked out at construction across the street. I understand this is temporary but it was a very unpleasant surprise that we were not told about ahead of time. We would have picked a different room. Also, I was told the breakfast buffet was included and was then charged $21.99 per person!!! Outrageous!!! I only ate a small scoop eggs, scoop of raspberries, and coffee. Get breakfast elsewhere!!!!! Or book a hotel that actually does what they say!

Jill, thank you for staying with us, and thank you for the warm comments about our terrific team and our ideal location just across the street from the shopping, dining, and attractions along the Inner Harbor. I certainly apologize about the miscommunication regarding breakfast. You do not indicate who told you breakfast is included, but typically free breakfast is an amenity offered at limited-service hotels, and it is not an amenity included at full-service properties with an onsite restaurant. We understand that the nearby construction is not a pleasant sight, but as you stated, the condition is temporary, and we are excited that soon we will have new neighbors, once the luxury residence building is completed. The building will also offer ground-floor retail and restaurant space that will greatly benefit our guests. We certainly hope to host you again for another Inner Harbor visit!

Facility good .. staff average.

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: Clean .. very nice. Comfy beds!
Location: Location was good, but the talk was pretty significant to any shopping. We felt a little isolated even though the inner harbor was across the street
Bellhops were friendly helpful and always smiling - very impressive The front desk folks were average at best.

Thank you for staying with is recently at Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. We're glad that you enjoyed the stylish comfort of our recently redesigned guestrooms, and in particular the plus bedding. I'm surprised that you didn't fully enjoy our location, as there are so many shops, restaurants, and attractions right across the street along the Inner Harbor, and yet the hotel is set back just far enough that we offer a quiet oasis from the busy harbor. I apologize that the front desk team did not make a stronger, more positive impression; we will share your comments with the team as a reminder of the impact that our staff has upon our guests' experience. We hope to see you again soon!

Excellent location for downtown

Posted Apr 5, 2017
Pros: Basketball court, pool, harbor view room
Cons: Recommend the number of people in the room be shared with housekeeping so they can stock the room - had to request 4 sets of towels daily.
Location: Inner harbor almost seems to be the center of attraction for the city. Aquarium is excellent. Plenty of resteraunts.
Family of four with a king bed and a sofa bed. Not ideal, but we had a harbor view room which made up for the inconvenience. Service was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. Would highly recommend staying here. Outdoor basketball court and indoor pool were both utilized. Hotel also has tennis court (multi-court), workout room, and racquet ball court - plenty to do when not sight seeing or working..

Thank you for recommending our hotel to fellow travelers--we're glad that you had a great stay! I apologize for the inconvenience of having to request four sets of towels daily. Our towel par for king-bedded rooms is 3, but because the harborview guestrooms each feature the sleeper sofa, it makes total sense to increase the par for each of these rooms to 4. Thank you for the suggestion! We're glad that you enjoyed our ideal location across the street from all there is to see and do at the Inner Harbor, as well as our amazing Fitness Center. We hope you'll stay with us again soon!

Close to Inner Harbor.. but an uncomfortable night

Posted Mar 9, 2017
Cons: They should not offer room 309 to anyone.. No view, loud construction noise and you cannot even open the curtain as there were construction people..
Location: Was there for business so really did not do anything around the area.
The hotel and the room was well kept and clean.. However, I barely slept in the night as there was a lot of construction happening outside my room.. The loud noise of drilling on the concrete went through most of the night. Room had no view accept of the construction site and a concrete building. I told the reception desk next morning of my discomfort and they deducted $40.00 from my night stay. I also told the lady at reception that it was not appropriate to offer a room to any client knowing that there was construction right outside the window.. Also I could not open the curtain at all as the construction people were able to look up and see me standing in the room. Not a good night experience.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback about your recent stay. On behalf of our team, I apologize that the construction one half block to the hotel's south along Lee Street disturbed your sleep. It is important to note that all work takes place during business hours Monday through Friday, and never at night. While the construction is unsightly and disruptive, we are proud of the progress in downtown Baltimore to remove vacant buildings and replace them with new residential construction that will also feature ground-level retail shops that our guests will benefit from. Also, the construction is located outside of just a small percentage of our rooms. Guests booking harborview or courtyard view rooms will not have any impact from the construction. We certainly hope you're willing to give us another chance to provide the great experience you deserve.

Luxury at a reasonable rate

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: Spacious rooms and well designed bath
Cons: The entry to the hotel is very narrow, if you are driving. There are limpousine services parked outside the hotel, but not a taxi.
Location: The hotel is close to the inner harbor with shops, restaurants and the US aquarium.
The rooms are excellent -- very spacious (although one must go down to the floor to find an electical outlet. Very nice, personable staff. Excellent location.
