Wonderful room after coming home from a deployment

We had an overnight stay in Baltimore after coming home from a nine month deployment. This was a great room. Modern finishes and comfortable bedding.

Great hotel, great location near BWI airport

Location: BWI airport is nearby which makes this a great hotel for me when in the area.
This was my second stay at this hotel since I visit BWI airport nearby often as of late. Amazing staff and the rooms are always very clean and spacious. Beds have been great both times, and the fitness center is very solid for a hotel as well. My go-to hotel anytime I'm in the area.

Our stay was excellent.

Pros: We were very happy with how quick it was to check in and check out. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Cons: If I had to choose something I would say the parking wasn't the best situation. There are only a few spots in the front so you have to park in the back and sort of have a long walk all the way around with your bags.
Location: The location was fine. A lot of other nice hotels around. There's not a whole lot to do unless you wanna drive more into town.

So many hotels don't choose this one

Pros: The front staff was good. aside from not finding me a better room.
Cons: The bed was the worst bed I have slept on in all my travels, my back is still sore. The concourse leading to the parking was disgusting, smelt like mold and mildew. I dreaded walking through that corridor everyday. Room service: I order a burger off the menu which shows 10USD my bill was 16.50 not sure what the 6.50 charge was for, or maybe they charged me for the chicken fingers I ordered but they didn't bring them, no idea. It was a work expense so I didn't make a big deal of it but either was the service either charged me for food they didn't bring or charged me too much for what they did bring. They owe me 6.50 lol
Location: The bad thing is you are surrounded by hotels and you spend the entire time wondering maybe the Westin next door doesn't smell like mold.

Decent hotel near ummc

Staff can be more friendly at checkin and checkout. Booked through Expedia but wanted to change payment method at checkin (which is possible and I have done it at other places) but staff was not aware. Room needs to have some other items like body lotion mouthwash

A very dated hotel.

Location: There is nothing within walking distance of this hotel.

From rags to riches

Our 1st room was terrible. It had wet carpets, a very dirty bathroom in a bad location. They moved us up to the club floor. It was a totally different world. We will stay there again but ONLYon the club floor.

In town for wedding - wedding party chose.

Pros: Spacious, clean room and friendly staff. Starbucks coffee in room.
Cons: Room was freezing. Reset the thermostat but it took most of the night to warm up. Luckily they had toasty blankets and comforters.
Location: Idk. The reception was held on the Chesapeake. We were transported there and back so no clue what's around. Near BWI but no planes heard or seen.
It was a quick stay but very convenient. Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean.

You get what you pay for

Upon our arrival the check in was quick and efficient. However after entering our room we were disappointed because there was no microwave and no tub.( just a stand up shower) it was still ok because we could take a good hot shower. We left the room for a movie only to return and find a key left in our door. Front desk had assigned another couple to our room and they left the key in the door. They had actually been inside of the room. I was so glad that I locked my technology equipment in the room safe. Later that same evening we went back out only to return and neither of our keys worked. In fact we had trouble getting into our rooms the duration of our stay. We had a good deal for the Labor Day weekend sat-sun and checkout Monday. We were very concerned about safety and security. We didn't feel comfortable entering the back entrance because it was not secure. The doors appeared unsecured after 12:30 p.m.-1:00 a.m. The sliding doors just opened up. Anyone could walk into the hotel. They were out of linen and towels on the second day. Both nights we had to ask for clean towels. If it weren't for the key being left in the door and someone going into our room we would have come back. I would not recommend this hotel to my family. They need to first beef up the security. Customers should feel safe.
