They didn't have my room. Worse service ever.

My reservation, made 6 weeks prior, was canceled the day of my arrival. Expedia called 1 hour before my arrival to tell me, and while I do live only 1 hour away, I had driven in 12 hours straight to the hotel from Chicago to the Sheraton as I made the reservation as a birthday gift. Upon arrival, I stood for 1.5 hrs while the staff at the desk did nothing. They said they were on phone w Expedia, but we opened the office door behind the desk and nobody was talking to anyone on the phone. When I then finally called Expedia myself at that time, Expedia found a room...30 minutes away. The Sheraton room was booked as walking distance from a concert venue. Obviously this substitute was unhelpful 30 minutes away. Then Expedia promised a free room anywhere in the world and would call me the next night to clarify. It's 3 days later. Still waiting.

No remote for TV, and heater/window drafty. Otherwise facility was great, especially for price. Fitness room was great, airy and open, first rate. Room in lodge was very quiet and cozy. Staff very professional and on-the-ball

Worst Sheraton experience ever

Location: Mall across the street
First of all I had to walk almost a quarter mile from front desk to the room . Than there were bugs and spider on the pillow. I called the front desk person who was over whelmed with calls and complains. He tried to kill the bug and finally give me another room and guess what there were bugs there too.
