Ok looking outside but GORGEOUS INSIDE!!Posted Oct 10, 2015
I didn't like the check in time of 4 pm but paid the additional fee for early check in that they guaranteed at 2 pm. Arrived at 1:15 pm and the "room" was ready. This was more of a suite... Gorgeous lay out. They offered breakfast for an additional fee but I opted not to get it. This place is Super nice needs upgrades on the outside but I'll be going back! MUST SEE THE INSIDE!!

Beautiful B&BPosted Sep 28, 2015
This is one of the nicest and most elegant B&B's I've ever stayed at. The place was just beautiful and elegant; and the host was charming. The breakfast was great. I just can't say enough. Magnificent!

hotel with characterPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: small and beautiful
Cons: interior design
Location: we have stayed here because of the short distance to the Merriwater Pavillion.
Great concept, but this hotel has much more potential than it shows now. more detailed design. more personal touch and it would be one of the nicest places!

Very nice B & BPosted Aug 17, 2015
Location: Great restaurant - Iron Bridge Wine Company. Killer food and great selection of wine by the glass and to purchase for off site enjoyment.
It's always great to stay in a non corporate hotel/inn. Very comfortable rooms. Quiet location (no road noise). Was very pleasantly surprised with "game room" pool table and big screen TV at no cost. Fresh cooked breakfast included. They recommended a great restaurant/wine bar just down the road (0.25 miles). The inn location is in a rural setting but not too far for a major highway to get to Baltimore in 20 minutes or DC in less than an hour. I would stay there again.

Comfortable, low-cost alternativePosted Aug 16, 2015 on Hotels
the hotel was a good conversion of an old mansion. Some of the choices made in regards to building materials and fixtures seem to have been based on selecting the cheapest, rather than the highest quality or best style. Nevertheless, the staff were very accommodating and the bed was very comfortable.

A nice change from the usual....Posted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
This was a great place to stay. It's really a large B&B. The staff was incredibly courteous, the free breakfast was REAL breakfast, complimentary wine and snacks were very good. Love that chocolate cake. They gave us an upgrade to the "L" suite and it was awesome. One of the most enjoyable stays we have ever had. Only a couple of hiccups - water pressure wasn't very good and you had to make doubly sure the door was locked when you left. But these were VERY small inconveniences. Would absolutely stay there again.

The staff was warm and helpful and it was great to be so close to Merriweather! I will definitely be back here, it's so serene and comfortable there!
