Remote location

At check-in I was told they were going to charge my card $50 for incidentals, however they place a $244 hold on my card, witch I was told would be refunded in about a week. The lobby was nice besides the overwhelming smell of chlorine from the pool. The hotel bar, lounge was great, but was almost $30 for 2 glasses of Absolute Vodka. The room has a very old beat up refrigerator, that looked like it had been through quite a few frat parties. The room phone also did not work. We had to ask for these to be fixed, and they did send someone pretty fast. After arriving back to the hotel from a concert downtown Baltimore we realized that our only option for food, was room service because the location was pretty far removed from anything but a 7-11 and a gas station, both of which were about a 5 minute ride. Overall it was decent, but will probably book at something better next time.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. My only complaint is that they charge through the nose for wifi. ($12.95 for 24 hours)

Safe Hotel closer to airport

Pros: Good rate. Good proximity to BWI and Johns Hopkins campus
Cons: Being a Westin their amenities could be better. For some reason I didn't find any difference between this Westin and a typical Fairfield Suites
Location: Good and safe location. I wish there are more restaurants nearby instead of having to drive around
Well maintained hotel. Good to see complimentary water provided in the rooms

Nice hotel - disappointing service

Pros: - Close to airport. - Nice facilities and rooms. - Good food at the restaurant.
Cons: - On time check in. - Sales team responsiveness. - Better restaurant attentiveness. - Don't charge separately for internet.
This is a well appointed hotel very close to BWI. My issues with service were: - I left a message with the sales group to rent a conference room prior to my stay and was never called back. - I checked in at 7PM, and the room was not ready, due to no linens. The desk was turning everyone away for about 15 minutes for the same reason. It was not a long wait in the end, and they did provide a drink/appetizer coupon, but 7PM is very late to not have rooms ready. - Hotel restaurant: The dinner food was very good, but service was lacking. Forgotten drinks, forgotten side orders. Breakfast was luckily a different story, with very good service. - The hotel charges $12.95/day for internet. This feels like you're being nickel-and-dimed by a high end hotel. I followed up with the desk supervisor and hotel manager, and both were concerned and understanding. I believe the staff is good, but overall coordination/consistency is off.

Good stay

Room was great but there was popcorn all over the floor just outside our room. The hotel staff werent so friendly. Our check out time was 12pm but 9am a house keeper comes and bangs on our door and proceeds to open it. After being up late all night from the casino it was irritating!!! The only other bad thing was our refrigerator didnt work. Other than that i would highly recommend this beautiful hotel

Wonderful hotel

The hotel is beautiful. Close to the airport but not to close so you don't hear planes. Lobby bar has a wonderful selection of drinks and food. Rooms where nice and comfortable.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Quick check in. The room was clean. The bed linens were comfortable. My stay was very enjoyable.

Not my idea of a 4-star hotel

Roomy and clean but not luxurious. Elevators were worn, old looking. Hallway carpet dingy, some trash. $12.95 for Internet...ridiculous...free at the Marriott the next night. $13.00 for continental breakfast...for the room price, breakfast should be free. Overpriced even with a supposedly 50% discount.
