Wonderful hotel in the heart of beautiful Bamberg

We especially loved our two evening dining experiences with our family of seven (3 children). The Staff were wonderful, rooms very large and clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Terrific experience!

Noisy Street

Easy walk to into town and nice breakfast. Stayed in Room 107; too much street noise from the passing vehicles. Then the thumping around during the morning hours from the adjoining room or above - forget about sleeping in.

Good Hotel.

Pros: Friendly and helpful Staff. Loved the Breakfast, what a Selection! Beds were comfortable.
Cons: The built-in furniture in our Room was of poor Quality. It would be great if Parking was free for Hotel Guests.
Location: Visit Bamberg, which is very beautiful. Have a Ride on the old Tram. We also visited the Giesburg, the views were stunning.
We came with my very elderly Parents. I made clear at Booking that my Mother struggles to walk. Despite this Information we were given Rooms a long way away from the Reception area. We had booked the basic Rooms and found them ok, clean and tidy. The Hotel Staff deserve a Mention. Everywhere in the Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful. I would return to the Hotel but not with my Parents.

Enjoyable accomidations in historic building. Budget room was close to road so there was some vehicular noise with the window open. Nice staff and breakfast.

I stayed at room 160 and had no working air-conditioning. I called the front reception and asked them if the room is equipped with the air conditioner and was told that no air is available in the room. Also, a tv was not working in the room.
