Good to stay.

Good price included breakfast. Not too far from downtown. The building is a bit old but nice and warm in winter.

Affordable

Posted Oct 30, 2017
It was ok for an older building. Affordable as in you get what you pay for. Buffet breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Friendly staff in the pub. Pool outside was very nice and relaxing. Hot tub itself could use a face lift. Cleaning and kitchen staff were polite.

Every thing was great except the room was too warm. 25 was too warm for us, so we had trouble sleeping the breakfast was lovely, really enjoyed that.

Carpet is not clean!

Posted Oct 3, 2017
Room carpet is not clean. Fortunately this hotel is not too far from the city Centre. Facilities are way to old and need to get refurbished!

Ok hotel.

One of the cheap ones. Ok for the price if all you need to do is get some sleep. They have complimentary breakfast atleast. Rooms are outdated. The parking area and hallways are pretty scary at night.

It is just okay!

Pros: The staff
Cons: Needs renovations. Old carpets, bathrooms, flooring, balcony doors. Remove exterior lights to places away from room windows.
Location: Its Banff - What more can be said?
Staff was great and helped with a discrepancy on a double booking of a room at the hotel. Plain but comfortable. Free (?) Breakfast is okay. No air conditioning. Did not use the pool or hot tub so no comment on those items.

Banff Trip

Posted Sep 10, 2017
Pros: Location, price
Cons: 1. There is no elevator. 2. Rooms need updated 3. Pool needs updated 4, Bar needs updated
Location: OK
This hotel is OK, but it is in need of an update. 1. There is no elevator. While walking up steps is not a big deal, lugging heavy suitcases up steps is not fun. 2. Rooms are OK, but they are old. Outlets for plugging in electrical devices are loose (plug drops out). 3. Breakfast was OK. They offer a variety of items, but those that should be warm/hot (french toast, pancakes, sausage) are cold. 4. Pool area needs updated. 5. Bar needs updated.

Good nights sleep

Hard to believe only 5 hotels in Banff had AC. Moved from another hotel that was dirty and old. But had a higher rating which l found strong. Only bad thing was there was no elevator.
