Clean hotel, tiny room, horrific room service.Posted Oct 11, 2017
Stayed for an anivarsary. Tiny room. Wanted a quiet night in and ordered room service. Nacho appetizer came burnt to a crisp. Burnt black! Chicken sandwich was not at all what was described on menu. In the morning women at checkout asked me too please speak to manager. His response was the menu we had in our room was out dated and needed to be changed. Still charged us full price for the 2 items. Seemed a bit ridiculous that the staff who took order wouldn't let us know the menu was old. I don't write reviews but thought people should beware of this. The hotel had a nice indoor pool and hotub. Very clean. Staff was friendly too. Decent place but we had a bad experience that could have been easily rectified. Banff is amazing!! Enjoy !!

Friday night in BanffPosted Oct 10, 2017
Pros: Location is good. Rooms were nice
Had a nice visit to Banff and stayed here. The hotel is nice but not nearly as grand as the Banff Springs or Rimrock. I would stay here again.

Good locationPosted Oct 6, 2017
Pros: Good location, pleasing reception and concierge staff and parking availability.
Cons: The restaurant staff - the manager was very aloof and as stated before one young lady gave the impression she didn't want to be there.
Location: The walks around Banff spectacular, sulphur mountain, lake Minnewanka, stunning views driving out, restaurants ok, people friendly
Unfortunately the staff supporting our first breakfast experience were all over the place. One young lady gave the impression she didn't want to be there. We asked for certain items and they didn't come. We felt very unwelcome which is a shame as the reception team and concierge were great. For this reason we chose not to eat at the hotel for any other meals.

Pricey, but great LocationPosted Sep 28, 2017
In Banff for the Melissa's Road Race weekend, so the location is very nice (not too close to the downtown to be in the mix of the noise, but close enough that it was a comfortable walk back and forth to the rec grounds for the race). The hotel is very clean, and well maintained. You are definitely paying for being in Banff, but if you would rather be in Banff than Canmore or Dead Man Flats, you should expect to pay more.

The hotel is affiliated with Marriott but don't expect a Marriott like in the states. First it was well located in Banff staff very accommodating our room was very clean lots of towels. Our room 222 was extremely small over looked the outdoor patio the bathroom was missing a light over the sink that was not replaced during our 3 day visit. No makeup mirror. Did not use the spa or work out room or restaurant. Over all the hotel is a 3-4 rating. I felt it was a bit over priced over $350 a nite

Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff, very comfortable rooms, great restaurant & lounge, Fantastic location!
Cons: Signs said windshields would be cleaned - they were not! Did not make or break the stay - just do what you say you are going to do :)
Location: Excellent location - Easy access, and only a 10 minute walk from downtown Banff - really great to leave the vehicle in the underground parking!
Booking last minute to be able to experience the iconic RCMP Musical Ride, we checked out Expedia and found the Banff Marriot Hotel. Even though the nightly rate was somewhat more expensive than our usual hotel accommodation choice, we decided to treat ourselves. We had an amazing experience. Right from the moment of check-in, all of the staff were friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in ensuring our stay was a fabulous experience. The Evergreen Restaurant and Lounge were amazing! We enjoyed an amazing evening meal! The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and exhibited just the right level of attentiveness (Not overbearing but always "present" and available when needed.). Enjoyed a few refreshments in the lounge before retiring to our room. The room was warm and inviting, with a comfortable king sized bed with ample pillows, fireplace with two oversized armchairs, very spacious bathroom - a sink, large counter and closet in one area with a separate room for the toilet, sink & shower, a TV and fridge. Even though the hotel was full, it was very quiet. There was a breakfast buffet(lots of options) as well as a breakfast menu(chef made perfect eggs benedict!). The location was ideal! A short 10 minute walk to downtown, enabled us to leave our vehicle in the underground parking.(Especially appreciated as parking can be challenging in Banff!) We highly recommend the Banff Marriot Hotel and cannot wait to go back!

Nice hotel.Posted Aug 29, 2017
Pros: We enjoyed the pool and buffet breakfast. Ate there every morning before heading out on our tours.
Location: The location is a few blocks from downtown Banff, so it wasn't noisy or crowded. It was a nice walk downtown to restaurants and shops.
Enjoyed staying at the Delta in Banff. The staff were very nice and helpful!

Cons: Rooms were tired. Services, even simple things like free bottled water need to be communicated more clearly.
Welcoming desk, but in general was a lackluster experience.
