Banff stopPosted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: The staff were very friendly and professional. Quiet location.
Cons: The television remote control needed to be replaced, one of the beds had a collapsed corner, mattresses were uncomfortable, room temp controls
We needed a room for an overnight stay in Banff as we were travelling to the coast. We had stayed at Rocky Mountain Resort before and chose to stay again.

Quiet spot out of town so courtesy coach was good.

Nice hotel 5 minutes drive to townPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Room was comfy and inviting. Fireplace, sofa and vaulted ceilings were very nice features.
The room we had was quite comfortable and well looked after. It had a sofa, fireplace and vaulted ceiling which were very nice features. The hotel was about a 5 minute drive to town, but they also have a shuttle service. There are no facilities nearby. The bed was slightly saggy, but overall quite comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Outdated & AwkwardPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Close to activities in Banff. Quiet.
The room was clean enough and quiet - but the layout was very awkward, the bathroom was dimly lit, and overall it was outdated. If we had needed to use the hide-a-bed, it would have been very crowded.

Banff visitPosted Sep 24, 2015
Cons: not too much
Location: Lots of things to do both nearby and in the town itself
The hotel was a short way from town centre but just of the main highway. There was little if any shopping nearby, but who goes to Banff to shop anyway. The bar and restaurant were in the main lobby and were very good. Wildlife was a lot closer than you would imagine but a short drive into the wild would get you there. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the town centre, which i believe ran every hour and it ran quite late. Did not use it myself so can't say much about it. Being a bit away from the town itself made the place very quiet and relaxing.

Location away from Banff MadnessPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: new mattresses. also, it would be nice to have security walk the grounds and tell loud guests to tone it down.
Location: location away from downtown Banff but a short drive away. for me, this was perfect and quiet. not for those who want to stay where the action is.
Location is a short distance from downtown Banff but makes for very quiet nights. Room is small but comfortable, perfect for couples. A family might find it tight. Minutes from downtown Banff. Only compliant is that mattress were old and sunken but still relatively comfortable.
