No frills but clean and comfortable.Posted Oct 7, 2014 on Hotels
No frills hotel but excellent! Stayed one night the weekend of October 4-5; travelling on my own so I needed to feel secure and safe. Excellent location; in the heart of Canmore's Main St. A little noise can be heard (revellers and zooming cars) from room 38 but there is a wall air conditioner to block out noise. Dated but extremely clean and nothing was broken. Probably the most comfortable beds I've stayed in (I usually stay at Fairmont hotels for work). Pillows were comfy and not bulky. Small fridge and Kuerig. Again, excellent location (walked to dinner and strolled for coffee in the morning). My only dislikes- late 4 PM checkin and checkout is 11 AM. Windows need a sheer curtain in order to have some privacy without completely closing the blackening so wasn't able to enjoy the mountain view without people having the ability to walk by and see me in my room. Remember folks; this is a 2 star motel so dont't expect Hilton standards. I would stay here again.

Cute slightly retroPosted Feb 26, 2014 on Hotels
Liked the retro feel of this place. Cozy, clean, comfy beds, nice pillows. Right next to Grizzly Pub.

Perfect for An Overnight GetawayPosted Feb 17, 2014 on Hotels
This motel really is the perfect spot for a getaway from the city when you intend to spend your time out and exploring wonderful Canmore. The room was nice and tidy with everything we may need - TV, fridge, wifi...there was even a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee varieties (no decaf, though). The bed was so comfy, even better than a much pricier hotel I'd stayed at in Canmore the week prior. The front office ladies were sweet and very accommodating. All in all, it was a great stay!

Motel is nice but don't stay on the ground floor if you can. The ceiling creaked like hell, we couldn't sleep till 4:00 am when the folks staying above slept!! Im not that sensitive to noise but dam, it was Bad!!!

Pros: comfort, friendliness, location
Cons: Great value if you are looking for a nice cozy room for the night
Location: downtown Canmore, Brazilian BBQ, restaurants, pubs, shops, coffee houses and events.
Just stayed for a night passing through, very nice motel right downtown, short walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Room are nice and clean, beds are comfortable and everything works. Nice view of the mountains and the creek behind. We are planning to stay again on our way back!
