Nice looking hotel but dirty.

On the outside and in the lobby this hotel looks nice. But once we got to our room we noticed a lot of not so nice things. Nothing was plugged in to the electrical outlets. Our lamps nor our tv. Then we found that the door handles were all dirty and the bathroom floor. The pool area was always dangerously wet and the hot tub was hardly warm. When I went o shower in the morning, there was no shower curtain in our bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel!

Conference hotel

This hotel is a conference hotel, and during our stay there were multiple events. Parking was difficult to find, even with a large lot, the common areas were packed with people, and presentation tables. Near the end of our stay, there a was a children event. Kids running up and down hallways, slamming doors, and talking loudly. The hotel walls are too thin, and all sound is transferred into unit. It wasn't an enjoyable stay.

Disappointing stay

Pros: The staff was pleasant, especially our waitress at the restaurant.
Cons: Improve the amenities, the furnishings and the quality of the food.
Location: Lots to do in Canmore!
We found the Coast very over-priced for the level of amenities. The bathroom was old and very small and the toilet ran for a long time, very loudly. The cleaning service was disappointing as we were missing cups, stir sticks and cream after a clean up. The furniture in the room was old and shabby. The buffet breakfast was very minimal and not good quality.

Great hotel and dining experience. Pricey and didn't like extra charge to be returned. It had a lot of great features.

Driving out west

My family and I were travelling across the provinces, as our final destination was Vancouver Island. When we reached Coast Canmore our group had been in a car for approximately 12 hours. We checked in and noted the restaurant was closing soon. That was not a problem for the staff they welcomed us to come down to the restaurant and order dinner, our wait staff were very accommodating , pleasant with all exchanges. Food was amazing, the hotel was beautiful. Best of all we all slept well. I will return there again.

Coffee for one in the room not two, two thin ratty towels provided. Asked for extra towels and they were thicker, but one was either dirty or stained not sure which. Someone else's hair on the bathroom floor. Gross!
