An upscale motel

Pros: The Staff, especially the new gentleman who may have been from Africa?
Cons: Re-model the rooms so that you don't feel like you are in the 70s. Enclose the walk way to the pool or create a back entrance hallway to change rooms.
Location: Many shops and eateries. Cute boutiques, home decor and trinket shoping.
Could be priced a bit better, when other more reasonably priced suites are available in the surrounding area. Outside walk to the pool was disappointing~I over heard this is a common complaint at this hotel in the winter time, not to mention the parade you must do in front of the hotels upscale restaurant floor to ceiling windows. Our room was clean, the fridge defrosted and left a nice wet puddle on the rug and our rooms heater needed to be unplugged as the thermostat didn't seem to work. The restaurant named, "Table' had wonderful staff and the chef was amazing! More suited for fancy drinks and appies. One fellow was very friendly and very accommodating to make our stay enjoyable. I think he was new. Came to our room with wine glasses and a corkscrew when he saw us walking back to our room with a wine bottle. Wonderful staff like this are worth a million bucks and made our stay worth it.

Sup par pool and hot tub

Wish I'd done more research before staying here. The room was fine and hotel staff nice and helpful. Pool and hot tub were in a separate building that required going outside. Hot tub was "warm" and pool area was unmonitored, aka full of fairly drunk people chugging their beers. Better off paying the extra for a nicer place, or skipping the pool amenities and going to the hot springs.

Great spot located very close to downtown.

Cons: Bathroom upgrade would be beneficial as it is looking dated.
Location: Very close to downtown, walking distance to many restaurants and bars.
Hot tub and pool were great, room was clean. Bathroom could use an upgrade but all was good on our stay.

Elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage up 3 floors. The pool/fitness is only accessible by going outside the hotel. This makes for a very cold trip in a wet bathing suit. I would not recommend staying at this property.

Location: Good location and lots of little shops and so on about a five minute drive away. Parking is tight in this town but eventually you find a spot.
I got the room thinking it had a balcony. But it turned out to be what's called a romeo juliet window. where there is just a small railing about 4 inches from the sliding doors. The elevator wasn't working. So my suitcase was a challenge. There was no breakfast as stated in amenities. Pool is in a different building. So the running up and down stairs and running in and out of building to use the pool is in this situation

Nice looking hotel but dirty.

On the outside and in the lobby this hotel looks nice. But once we got to our room we noticed a lot of not so nice things. Nothing was plugged in to the electrical outlets. Our lamps nor our tv. Then we found that the door handles were all dirty and the bathroom floor. The pool area was always dangerously wet and the hot tub was hardly warm. When I went o shower in the morning, there was no shower curtain in our bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel!

My stay at the coast was average at best. Upon arriving I noticed there was some sort of stain on the bedding. I called front desk if he away,and they did promptly send someone to change them. I did find the room very noisey, I could hear the people upstairs pretty well. The hot tub is awkwardly located adjacent to the property so you will have to walk outside to get there. It was also more warm then it was hot. With all the options in beautiful Canmore, I don't think I would stay here again
