Mountain views, walk to town!

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. Short walk to town. Great mountain views from our 3rd floor room. Train goes by during night but not bad. We had our windows open for fresh air so it was louder.

Clean convenient efficient staff.

Pros: Well maintained, picturesque area.
Location: All Banff and Canmore attractions nearby
A good place to stop in the mountains, close to Banff and area attractions. Breakfast buffet was decent, reasonable price.

Okay hotel. Needs updating

Posted Aug 20, 2016
The check in and out was nothing fancy. We didn't even get asked how are stay was. Disappointing. They don't seem to care about you. At check in we weren't even informed where elevators were or anything about the hotel at all. Just here's your keys. The door to the bathroom in our room needed adjusting. Kept closing on its own really frustrating when having two people in the bathroom. The bathroom is also extremely small. The bed was very comfortable. I would say at least that was good. And there was one girl at the front desk in the evening that helped us get a a cab. I wouldn't stay here again. Would have been nice to see at least one smiling face at arrival and departure. And would have been nice to learn more about the hotel and what was available.

Good hotel but depends what room!

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Cons: remove the trees that obstruct the mountain views for the ground floor rooms
We tried to request a room with a good view and they promised us one. "it has a patio, so you will have a good view". The suite had patio but it was 3' x 3' and trees all around blocking the nice mountain view :(

Nice hotel in Canmore with good breakfast

Posted Aug 6, 2016
Pros: Hotel is nice with good breakfast and great indoor pool
Cons: Everything was great
Location: Canmore is near Banff so if you did not get a hotel in Banff then Canmore is your next best choice.
Nice hotel in Canmore which is an hour drive from Banff. Hotel has a nice restaurant for Breakfast/lunch and dinner. Nearby there are also choices for eating out.

Nice room poor service

Posted Aug 6, 2016
The room was good, but the staff was not friendly, we tried to order room service and the staff on the phone seamed uninterested and told us to order pizza.

Older, kept-up hotel with comfy, clean king bed

Posted Aug 2, 2016
Pros: The comfortable, clean king-sized bed.
Cons: Pool could be renovated and better kept up. Price needs to go down substantially--not worth $300/night.
Location: This isn't on the main strip, but it's in Camore--everything is pretty close. Be sure to walk on board walk in town.
Went on a long weekend and paid $300 for one night. It was clean, obviously had some age (and by a subtle cat-like smell in the hallways, you could tell), but kept up. The king bed was comfy and clean. Pool was a bit shady though.... Convenient to have a restaurant attached--though as the food was just pretty good, we ended up mostly going out, as there is great food in town. Nice patio and interior restaurant though. Not worth $300/night, but like the bed, the hotel was comfy and seemed clean.

convenient access to Banff

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness
Location: BAnnff, Lake Louise
The room was very comfortable. However, housekeeping left something to be desired. Not all trash was picked up. The sheet over one bed was dirty.

Nice hotel close to Banff.

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: Nice entrance, lobby, etc. Great bed! Nice pillows etc. Enjoyed the decor.
Cons: Have coffee other than Starbucks. A coffee machine like Douie Egberts would be so much better!
Location: Great location! Several good restaurants nearby.
Nice hotel. Nicely appointed. Great proximity to Banff National Park! Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Good location, friendly staff

Good location close to downtown Canmore and the Trans-Canada Highway, giving good access to both Banff and Kananaskis. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Good restaurant.
