Hotel was exactly what you hope a mountain retreat - rustic and natural. The hot tubs and spa were wonderful. I did not eat at the restaurant (it was closed 1 of the 2 nights) but the head chef was approachable and enthusiastic.
The hotel is currently under construction so that made getting around the hotel a little difficult, but other than that it's a great place! We hope to return annually!
Standard rooms do not have AC, so it got pretty hot at night(80 degrees) with no real way to cool down the room. We tried leaving the window open and the fan, but it was not enough. I was not aware when booking. Also parking is first come first serve with not enough spaces. We parked on the street ...

Hotel is in an excellent location close to town(walking distance) but still hidden in nature. Beautiful trails for hiking all around.
