Nice but noisy

Posted Feb 2, 2016
We stayed in a one bedroom suite for 2 nights in January. The room was very clean, but we found this to be one of the noisiest hotels we've stayed in. I don't know if the walls and floors are just really thin but every single noise carried from above, the hallway, neighbouring rooms, and even from the pool outside. It seemed there was a lot of noise and coming and goings well into the early morning. Also, the kitchens are not stocked with any extras so be prepared to bring EVERYTHING you need if you plan on cooking in the room.

Good choice to explore Canmore and Banff areas

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Stoneridge Mountain Resort resulted in a good choice for my wife and I explore parks and trails in Banff and Canmore areas for one week during winter time. Very good infrastructure, room well equiped, including a very convenient in room wash machine. Underground heated garage was great to allow quick leaving and come back. Yes, it was possible to hear every footstep on the upper floor, but for us that was not annoying enough to disturb our time there. The room we got was excellent for two people. Four people can get the room a bit too crowded. The outside heated pool and hot tube provide good relax time, even in winter time. The front desk team was awesome, provinding accurate information, beside very good and personalized hints about nearby attractions.

Walking distance to Canmore town centre

Posted Jan 30, 2016
Pros: Staff we friendly and the parking and Wifi were included.
Cons: The lighting in the den was not very adequate. Very dull.
Location: The property is located five minutes by car from the Banff park gates. The access to the property is just off the Trans Canada highway.
The suite we stayed in was spacious and well appointed. There were robes and slippers in the suit for our use. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Although it's classified as a den because of a lack of a window. It was certainly big enough and did come with a pull out couch. The gas fireplace was a nice touch as we visited in late January. Over all it was good value for our money.

Condo during Ski Trip

Posted Jan 19, 2016
Pros: Size of the suite was amazing, with two private bedrooms, a kitchen and a dining/living room.
Location: close to ski areas in and out of the park.
Booked a King Suite for a family ski trip. Room(s) were wonderful after a day on the hill with space for everyone to have supper together at the table, as well as relax privately when they needed to. The kids loved the pool and hot tub!
