Time away.

Pros: Great bed.
Location: Enjoyed the Tavern, and the Iron Goat restaurants. Trip to Lake Louise was great and enjoyed a sleigh ride.
We had a very enjoyable time at Stoneridge. Bed was very comfortable. Hot tub and pool were great. Watched some movies on dvd player. Quiet rooms, barely heard any other guests.

Great location, beautiful hotel

Close to all amenities. Room was very spacious. Friendly staff. Complimentary underground parking was very handy. Cafe attached to hotel was closed unfortunately and they don't have a restaurant in the building which forced us to venture out (which was ok too). Overall stay was very pleasant

The cafe's closure was beyond our control as we are not the proprietors of the cafe. However, there are multiple eating venues to visit within a 5 minute radius of the hotel, and I am happy to read that this did not hamper your stay significantly. Good value - no restaurant.

Banff has got so expensive for beat up, worn out hotels. We try a new place each trip now, Stone ridge is head and shoulders above on value. We stayed in the 900sq ft suite for $230. One of the best values we've found so far.....just no room service for those lazy weekend breakfasts. Amenities are in good condition....not the typical beat up shape your find in this high traffic tourist town. Couch is not comfortable, no ppl movie channels, staff is not really trained to handle you with class, they push you like you need the rules lorded over you. If the room is just where you sleep, this is one of the highest quality options we found for the best price. If you want to lock yourself in a great room for the weekend.....still need to pay up for the Rimrock.

Very pleasant stay

Cons: Parking garage could use restriping. Very hard to see lines to park between.
We were very pleased with out hotel stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean, view was spectacular. What little interaction we had with the staff was pleasant. Heated underground parking was appreciated

Beautiful hotel that has everything you need. Rooms are so clean and organized! Friendly helpful staff that makes sure you're comfortable and happy. Just had 1 bad experience of noise above us. We both have kids but children above us were out of control. Woken up at 7 am and constant running and banging. We were moved to another room which was better but adults were awake and moving chairs and walking around till till 2 am. We love this hotel....just the top floor next time!

Clean hotel, friendly staff, great location.

I booked this hotel the day before as a Valentine's Day surprise for my partner. Upon arrival it took us less than 5 minutes to check in. The free wi-fi and parking was great. The room was extremely clean, spacious and had a view of the pool and mountains. The bed was comfortable and both the tub and shower were clean and big. Only a 15-20 minute drive to Banff from this hotel.

Stoneridge Mountain Resort

Pros: Everything
Cons: Some of their hose keeping staff need a little bit more training. The first part of the week was managed by a Jamaican lady who was first class
Location: Dog sledding in Canmore by 'Howling Dogs' is a must
We were checked into a large 1 bed with den for our duration.The room was roomy and clean and had a great view.
