We stayed a week at StoneRidge over Christmas 2016. The accommodation is very spacious and has all the modern conveniences you could ask for in a condo. Huge bathrooms, a deck with a gas BBQ, fireplace, great kitchen, washer/dryer. Nice sized pool and hot tub perfect for apres ski with amazing views of the mountains.
The staff were wonderful - they are friendly and helpful and put on a special event for the children on Christmas Eve with a visit from Santa and a present.
The housekeeping staff was great too and always restocked laundry soap, sponges, fresh tea towels, etc which was more than what most self catering places like this do.
Overall a fabulous trip. A few minor points - no shuttle to Banff or Sunshine village so you need to be prepared to drive 20-30 mins to the slopes. Also, hardwood floors which meant we had noisy neighbors above us. Would opt for 4th floor next time. The gym is very basic.

We are exceedingly happy that your children found the visit from Santa to be a joy in the Christmas season! Tis the season to be jolly - we do not take that phrase lightly in the least!
As for our staff, our unofficial motto here at Stoneridge is "Make the guest happy" - this is all we strive to do in all that we do so it is no wonder that you had such pleasant experiences. Putting a smile on someone’s face makes our job complete.
Regarding transportation, unfortunately we have no control over the shuttles that run to Sunshine Village Resort. But the Roam Transit here in town will take you to Banff at a small fee. We also have buses that run in Canmore as well! Next time, please feel free to consult our front desk staff about this. We would be more than happy to give you the necessary information.
We do have a noise policy here in the hotel which is enforced to protect all of our guests from an inability to relax and enjoy the resort. Did you report this to Front desk? We implore you to do so next time so we can be aware of the issue and take care of this.
