Beautiful View

Posted Jan 17, 2017
My husband and I recently booked a one bedroom suite for three nights and have absolutely zero complaints. Although we had no complaints about the interior of our first room, we weren't that impressed with the view. We decided we had nothing to lose and decided to call front desk and they immediately moved us to another available room on the fourth floor. We had an amazing view of the mountains plus a spectacular interior. Any staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back.

Dear S, Thank you for submitting feedback as it pertains to your stay here at our resort! We were happy to move you to a different room that made you feel more comfortable! That is what we are here to do! We try our best to make guests happy which was why your experience was so positive! I am happy to read that you enjoyed the suite on the 4th floor; getting to see part of the Canadian Rockies from your suite is only reasonable if you visit the Canadian Rockies! We sincerely hope that you will return to the resort soon, and thank you again for your invaluable feedback. In Hospitality Anthony

Stone ridge consistently offers the nicest accommodations in the area. Really nicely appointed and laid out rooms. We were upgraded to a two bedroom at check in (big thank you!!) by the friendly and efficient front desk staff. Overall made the weekend a nice escape from the city.

Very nice hotel

Posted Jan 1, 2017
Very nice days at the Stoneridge. We booked a suite with one bedroom. Very nice, spacious and modern apartment. Beautiful living room area with gaz chimney. Only 2 things: the mattress in the adult bedroom and the fact that we had to do the bed for the 3 kids when we arrived! But in general, very happy without stay. Nice staff and the pool and jacuzzi outside were fantastic.

Dear Sandrine, First of all, I love your picture! It was very kind of you to share this. We are happy that you were pleased with the accommodations! The suites are perfect for families, and we are happy that you found areas like the living room to be satisfactory as well. Our apologies that you found the mattress to be uncomfortable. Did you report this to Front Desk? We would have been more than happy to arrange for a new mattress to be placed in the room or even assign you to a different suite with a mattress more to your liking! We do go above and beyond to make our guests happy! Also, you have the option of requesting your sofa bed to be made up. Next time, please consult our front desk staff so that we can arrange this. Thank you so much for the constructive criticism which we find invaluable in developing our brand. We sincerely hope that you will return to our resort some day! In Hospitality,

Lovely place!

We stayed a week at StoneRidge over Christmas 2016. The accommodation is very spacious and has all the modern conveniences you could ask for in a condo. Huge bathrooms, a deck with a gas BBQ, fireplace, great kitchen, washer/dryer. Nice sized pool and hot tub perfect for apres ski with amazing views of the mountains. The staff were wonderful - they are friendly and helpful and put on a special event for the children on Christmas Eve with a visit from Santa and a present. The housekeeping staff was great too and always restocked laundry soap, sponges, fresh tea towels, etc which was more than what most self catering places like this do. Overall a fabulous trip. A few minor points - no shuttle to Banff or Sunshine village so you need to be prepared to drive 20-30 mins to the slopes. Also, hardwood floors which meant we had noisy neighbors above us. Would opt for 4th floor next time. The gym is very basic.

Dear Denise, Thank you so much for contributing some feedback as it pertained to your stay here. We are very pleased that you found the accommodations to be satisfactory! As I always inform people, our suites are designed to be your home away from home PLUS THE CANADIAN ROCKIES, and all the luxuries you can enjoy by staying here. We are exceedingly happy that your children found the visit from Santa to be a joy in the Christmas season! Tis the season to be jolly - we do not take that phrase lightly in the least! As for our staff, our unofficial motto here at Stoneridge is "Make the guest happy" - this is all we strive to do in all that we do so it is no wonder that you had such pleasant experiences. Putting a smile on someone’s face makes our job complete. Regarding transportation, unfortunately we have no control over the shuttles that run to Sunshine Village Resort. But the Roam Transit here in town will take you to Banff at a small fee. We also have buses that run in Canmore as well! Next time, please feel free to consult our front desk staff about this. We would be more than happy to give you the necessary information. We do have a noise policy here in the hotel which is enforced to protect all of our guests from an inability to relax and enjoy the resort. Did you report this to Front desk? We implore you to do so next time so we can be aware of the issue and take care of this. We sincerely hope you will return to our resort soon! In Hospitality

Very convenient location, 15min drive to Banff

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Pros: Indoor parking, balcony with BBQ, kitchen, staff, near shops
Went skiing everyday, 25min drive to Sunshine and 45min to Lake Louise. Canmore has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and pubs. The 4 of us (2 couples) loved the condo and facilities.

Family Christmas

Posted Dec 23, 2016
Pros: Heated pool, fully stocked kitchen, common area in suite
Cons: Nothing...it was amazing!
Location: We did some shopping downtown which was 5 mins away, and went skiing at Sunshine Village which as around 1/2 hr away. Lots of grocery stores, etc.
We had the best time spending our Christmas holiday with our family at this resort! The common area for our families to meet up in was amazing, BBQ on our private deck was nice as we BBQ'd steaks for our steak dinner. We all had a blast in the heated pool/hot tub. We have decided to make this an annual event. Thank you for making our Christmas that best one yet!!

Pros: Heated parking structure. Heated pool and hot tub. Patio with BBQ grill.
Cons: More linens.
Staff are nice and friendly. We stayed at 1 bedroom king suite and was perfect for two of us. Heated parking structure is big plus in winter time. Full kitchen is nice but there is only salt and pepper. We brought our own condiments so not a problem for us. Fireplace really heat up the space very nicely. We end up turning off the heater. Our couch as broken so was not comfortable to sit on. They only leave 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. I end up asking for more each day because they would not leave extra for me unless I ask for it. We left big tip each day with note. We stayed for 4 nights. Overall, it was what I was expected and I would go back to this resort when I can.

Dear Traveler, Thank you for submitting feedback as it pertained to your stay with us! We are happy that you found your 1 bedroom king suite to be perfect for the both of you. All of our suites are designed to be your home away from home, and are pretty self-sufficient. Because we are in close proximity to grocery giants such as Safeway or Save-On-Foods, and convenience stores, we provide our guests with the basic necessities. We provide maps at the front desk so that you can navigate around town without much hassle to find these places. We terribly regret that the couch in your suite was broken; that is indeed unacceptable. Was it reported? Our maintenance staff is equipped to fix these issues, or we would have been more than happy to replace the couch. The next time you stay with us, please feel free to ask us to arrange for a particular amount of towels to be placed in your suite, or any other luxuries that we have available to offer. Anything to make your stay more comfortable is what we are here to do! Thank you for the constructive criticism (and for the tip! Our housekeeping staff are very appreciative), and we sincerely hope you will return to our resort soon! In Hospitality
