OK room. Great breakfast

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Body soap
Location: Good location. You can get to Banff in an hour.
All staff are really nice and friendly. Room was bit too small. but their breakfast was really good. It made me rate this hotel better.

We enjoyed out stay in Canmore. The staff of the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I would stay here again.

Canmore hotel surrounded by mountains

Posted Jul 20, 2016
Nice hotel in Canmore, very close to Banff. The suite was nice & included a gas fireplace, covered patio, washer/dryer & full kitchen. The bed seemed a bit small & the shower had soap scum. They did serve a hot breakfast from 7-11. Overall, a nice hotel that needs a few updates.

Canmore

Jury still out on this place. I can't say I hate it or love it. I realize it is up in the mountains, but I almost freaked out because there is no air conditioning. Fans are provided, so I survived. Also noticed some tears in the carpet, scratches on hallway walls, and some in the elevator. Parking can be a challenge for some. Either leave your car on the street, and there are several hotel/condos in the area. They do have an underground garage, it is not free, extra $10, per night, which I used, thought it would be safe for me, cuz I was traveling alone. Also very close to Trans Canada 1, for those of you who don't like noise. I did have a "peek-a-boo" view of the Rockies from the balcony.

only thing that bugged me was having to pay $10 for parking, that felt like a bit of a gouge.
