Convenient location but hotel needs renovation

Inside room is quite old and dirty, recommend to do renovations in order to keep up high ranking. No shuttle is provided which is inconvenient for old residents. Takes at least 10 mins walk to central world.

Great location but service is declining

Admittedly it was CNY so the hotel was busy, but so was the JW Marriott wheee I stayed the previous week while in Bangkok on business. The staff could not keep up primarily because they were very slow and quite disorganized. I have stayed at the Anatara Siam in Dec 2016 and enjoyed it so surprised service had deteriorated so quickly. Waiting 25 mins to have ones bags brought downstairs when I was the only departing guest was unacceptable. No organization at the check-in /check-out desk as the staff also acted as concierge. Long waits for simple check-outs. Much improvement needed.

Great Hotel!

Pros: Staff, rooms, location, and food choices as their restaurants are excellent.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location to shopping malls, restaurants and right at the Rajadamri sky train station which is very important for transportation around Bangkok.
This hotel is great and the total staff is absolutely wonderful; check-in staff, food staff, managers, greeters, house service and 5 stars to the incredible bell hops and bell hop service which go above and beyond in service. I've been staying in that same hotel structure, off and on, for 15 years, back when it was both The Regents and The Four Seasons, but now it's the Anantara Siam and the staff and food is still the best. I'm glad that the standards have remained high. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in 19 years of regular, extended vacations to Bangkok, but this is my #1. The new room renovations also look great although I personally miss the scene-of-Thailand mural that was above the beds in the rooms. It was similar to the gorgeous one in the lobby entrance. But, my new room was beautiful and there was still a Thai style so I felt like I was in Thailand and not just in any hotel anywhere in the world. Thumbs way up. Keep up the great work, Siam Anantara.

Live up to its 5-Star rating!

Pros: We love the buffet. It has many variety to suite your taste. Ms. Oil, the manager, does a wonderful job. Servers personally take your egg order.
Service is impeccable. Hotel decor is beautiful. Personnel at the reception desk goes out of their way to ensure our stay is perfect. Hotel is perfectly located near shopping malls, MTR station and it's easy to get around. We had a great stay.

Everything was very nice, except the fact that the bathroom door is the "Wild-West-saloon" type, without any lock on it, which leads to embarrassing situations when the room is occupied by more than one person.

Gracious service

The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The free to use mobile phone to carry in Bangkok was great to help with directions. Wonderful stay.
