The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that it was a terrible experience. Very dirty, horrible managed, the bed was full of fleas

Mattresses with bed bugs

Great location near BTS and river boats. Free parking. Cleanliness absolutely horrible. Bed bugs (we and our friends had several rooms and all of us had to go to the hospital for treatment). No hot shower. No WiFi in room (only lobby). Dirty rooms and worse than dirty bathroom. Breakfast were OK. Staff doesn't resolve issues and problems. Overall, I wouldn't recommend because of health issues due to unacceptable lack of hygiene

Only few staff can communicate in english

When we stayed in the hotel the staff working on the weekend can hardly communicate in English . All 5 days we stayed , we never have a good wifi connection in the room. We reserved a mini van to bring us to the airport payed 1500 baht but only brought us to the wrong airport ending us riding with the airport shuttle to the right airport destination. It's good that the airport has free shuttle bus .

Convenience

Location: My stay in the hotel allow me to go to places easily
I went to Bangkok for a conference. The venue is just a 10-minute walk from Astera Sathorn. The hotel is also about 5-minute walk from Saphan Taksin BTS Sky Train Station

Bad conditions and some bad staff

Pros: Location. Very close to the ferry and skytrain station.
Cons: Rudeness of Mr. Nipon and a female staff member.
Location: Close to the train station. Walking distance to the ferries that take you to major attractions.
Very good location, but very expensive for what they offered. We had several bad experiences: 1. Children got very sick potentially from the welcome drink (because we had a warm meal at a good restaurant afterwards). I wonder if this drink contributed to the diarrhea and nausea that ruined our vacation. 2. Although rooms were booked for a family with children, there were adult themed flower pots in the rooms, which are inappropriate for children in any culture. 3. Even with the instructions, hot-cold water control was very difficult. 4. While most staff members were very polite and professional (especially the male reception on day duty), one of the night receptionists (Mr. Nipon) was very rude and harassed during a few interactions. When asked to 'check' about a taxi, he booked without my permission and got angry and warned me when I asked him to cancel it. He also made me wait for 10 min when I asked for a plastic bag for packing some stuff, only to look around a few seconds and say that they did not have any. 5. Water leaked from the ceiling during the night and I slipped on the floor in the morning. They promptly sent someone to clean up when I reported, but a pool formed again in a few hours. A senior, female receptionist was rude when I asked for a permanent fix. She offered another room, but not a connecting room for the rest of the family. Then they sent someone else again, who fixed it in just five minutes. So,they knew about the issue, but never bothered.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at.

The only thing 4 star about this hotel is they have people that will carry your bags up to your outdated unmaintained room. The only reason I decided to stay at this hotel was because of its location in Bangkok(walking distance to Sathorn Pier) and it offered a King size bed. I'm 6'7" tall and a solid 300lbs. My wife and I require a king size to be comfortable. As soon as we checked in and got to our room I found out the king size bed was just two single beds pushed together. Very noticeable lump down the center of the bed. The next thing I noticed was that the toilet didn't flush. It had a commercial style toliet. No tank, just a pipe coming out the wall. It had zero water pressure. I called the front desk and they said that they would take care of it. Seven hours later, we get back to the room and it is not fixed. I call down to the front desk again very upset. The girl says she'll get someone right up there. Man comes up with a plunger. Plunges it for 5 minutes and says he can't fix it. I tried to explain that it wasn't clogged, it didn't have any pressure but he didn't seem interested. Twenty minutes goes by and I call the front desk again only to be told that he couldn't fix it and it world be morning before someone else would be there. I had to ask if they were going to switch us to another room or should we just go to the bathroom in the sink. Surprise surprise, only room available? 2 single beds and didn't have any hot water. Less than 1 star rating.

Not a 4 star hotel

This was rated 4 star. Not even close. Cramped rooms, mould in the bathroom, somewhat surly front desk staff. This hotel is in need of some serious renovations.

Comfortable hotel, near river, Skytrain

Clean and comfortable, very accessible to river boat and Skytrain. Not too far, plenty of street seller for food and market. Grocery store nearby (TOPS & 7-11) food court. Every day, staff left water bottles, can of pop and small bag of chips in fridge. Swimming pool very clean and relaxing. Most site to visit are accessible with the river boat, consequently important to be near water, cheap and fast mode of transportation. A/C in room noisy, morning breakfast buffet is overprice, did not have any meal at hotel, plenty of affordable food around the hotel. Water for the shower fluctuate, if you can live with that it is not a major problem.

Great Value

Location: The location is top notch. Has nearly everything you need near by.
Arrived early. 5am local time. Wasn't able to check-in. Didn't appreciate that. Luckily my Dad had arrived earlier. Checked-in later. Got in to room. Good space. Bed was huge but too firm for my liking. AC worked very well. Was noisy but the level can be adjusted. I turned it down to lowest. Worked great. Had ear plugs anyway. Good view. Didn't have hot water initially. Told reception. Was fixed immediately. Room was kept every day. Hotel provided 2 bottles of water, 2 cans of Pepsi, Coffee, chips and peanuts every day but only if you consumed them. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was in great shape. Pool was nice. Has a workout facility and sauna. I was hoping for North American breakfast option but they served Thai style food for breakfast. Was still good. Saphan Taksin BTS station very close by. So is river boat transit. Plenty of near by stores and food vendors. The only issue I had was the Internet/WiFi wasn't very good. Overall, a great hotel experience.

The hotel has terrible shower facilities. It's either too hot or too cold, impossible to regulate the temperature. No tissues were provided and when asked for more bottles of mineral water, we were told tt we have to pay 42 baht for each bottle. Every male staff were friendly but cannot say the same for some of the female staff.
